    DRIVING:
    Its my mate since ages
(The car we will be talking about is the petrol E+ variant and the petrol E+ variant only) Well...it's been 3 years now since I bought the creta petrol E+ variant! And boy oh boy, there was no other SUV like it then and neither is there any now in this segment. Be it compared with the Renault Duster or the Nissan Terrano or even the Mahindra Scorpio. I don't say this just because of any kind of guilt that I bought this car and have to put up with anything that I dislike about it anyway. No! It does have a few draw backs too, like the pricing and the millege, but looking at the overall package that's on offer, it still isn't a bad choice at all. (We will be talking about the petrol E+ variant and the E+ variant only!!) ABOUT THE ENGINE: Since my car is a petrol variant, a 1.6L Engine, it's quite powerful and punchy. It churns out around 124hp of power which is extremely impressive when you compare it to the Duster or it's twin the Terrano with an engine power output of 105hp. The engine power is quite decent or I would say more than sufficient , but it's not exponential. It's just a linear power delivery which gives a decent pull right from start. It rev all the way to about 6500-7000rpms, but the thing is it just feels too stressed past 5000rpm, and you get a feeling that the engine would pop out of the hood.??. And also it sounds good and raspy. For my driving characteristics, which is smooth most of the times, I've been getting around 10kmpl in city and on the highway about 12kmpl. That is quite decent for the size of the car and the engine, but still hard on your pocket. But if I'd you keep ripping the engine in the first 2 or 3 gears, like pretty much redlining, fuel economy will drop drastically, even to 6 kmpl If your older vehicle was a diesel turbocharged one, you will surely feel the lack of excitement driving this car, and will miss that WHOOSH feeling. But over all it's a great engine, even when compared to it competitors. INTERIOR AND THE EXTERIOR OF THE CAR: The aesthetic likes and dislike are personal to each human being so I would not be talking a lot about it. But I personally love them and haven't been bored of the exterior nor the interior looking at it everyday since pretty much 3.5 years now. It still looks smart and marks it's presence on the road. COMFORT : The comfort is not really that bad, but since it's a Korean car, it gets tiny seats. I am about 5 8" tall, and the seats do feel a little small. If not, there's nothing to talk about it all. The suspension is great. Not too soft not too hard, just right. But it would be great if got the independent suspension at the rear from the international model. The car has a huge boot space and that let's grab anything and everything when your out an holiday. There is a 2 ton air-conditioner offered which cools the cabin with a blink of an eye, even on hot summer days. SERVICING: Always remember that you are just getting fooled by the dealership when it comes to servicing because that is where they make money. Just ask them to do only what is mentioned in the car' manual, because nothing more is required, and obviously the the dealership doesn't know more than the designers of the car, do they? INSURANCE: This is one more place where you can fooled and if you dont, you save up to 10,000-30,000 Rupees. Yes! You heard me right. This can be done by not getting your insurance done in the showroom and getting it done externally. Always go for government policies because other private insurance companies just fool. Trust me! I've been through it! NOW THE PROS AND CONS : Pros: . Best car I this segment. . Most powerful engine in this segment. . Has a stance on the road and other car respect and fear coming close to you. . Large cabin and lots of leg room. . Huge boot. . Very fun to drive. . Off-roading capabilities. Cons: . Pricing is on a little higher side. . Fuel economy is not the greatest. . Servicing is a little expensive. . No 4 wheel drive offered. . No Electronic Stability Control offered, just 2 air bags, ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. . No rear view camera or sensors offered. . Music system is very outdated and lethargic with a lot of bugs. Just somehow manages to do the job . SO FINALLY! SHOULD YOU GO FOR IT? It's a personal choice but I would say yes because it's the best buy if your budget is 13lakh rupees or less. HAVE A NICE DAY! AND DO GIVE A THUMBS UP!!
