Volkswagen Polo we can considered for its safety, comfort and power. At the lowest price for a German engineering product.
I have taken test-drive for almost all in the segment, and the one which gives greater confidence and better driving experience is with Polo. More than 1 lakh kilometers I have been using the car and once in a year we need to get it serviced for 15K kms.
Pros
Maneuverability, Driving experience, Neat and elegant Interiors.Taking thru the corners in ghat roads is amazing, good control in the turns.
Cons
Rear seat leg space is less
