      I have bought this car 2 months back from Hartron motors, Gurugram. I was trying to buy this car as I have read a lot of reviews and news on Carwale, I was clear at my doubts about this car & let me tell you one thing when I took a test ride of this car, trust me completely fall in love. but still, my problem was the same (budget). I was looking for a discount as it's almost 20 lakhs (Dark Edition). I requested to agency manager they given me a discount of 70k in the festive season. (Diwali). Really happy with Hartron motors, Gurgaon services the way they helped me. It's an amazing product from Tata motors. I have been driving this car since Oct month (800 km), The feel of Tata harrier is really smoothy and fresh. Yes, the part where most people simply fall for. It got something unique that shows presence on the road which does look like a beast (Dark Edition). Performance is also fadooo boss !! I have enjoyed the sporty mode, the pick-up it's giving is extremely powerful. I didn't notice any pros until now: Yeah, but the price should less by 1-2 lakhs. :) The customers look in the end pockets. :)

      Purchased a week back, already facing issues with humming sound from dashboard . Was an and TML unable to provide solution so far. How this was missed in PDI is a real surprise. New design and all But at the heart it is same old Tata Motors. Very poor After Sales.

      I would like to share my lovely experience with Tata Harrier XZA+ Dual tone, In just one word its Fabulous, Be Indian buy Indian, It's an amazing vehicle by Tata Motors, In regards to space, comfort, safety and mileage it tick all the boxes, Please don't choose your vehicle because of some cosmetics which is given in other Chinese cars, Harrier's built quality is awesome, it tackles all sort of roads easily, Automatic transmission is so smooth any one could easily navigate it. Thank you Tata Motors.

      A SUV is not just about the size, but the basics too. My friend bought the harrier and it has been a horrible experience for him due to breakdowns, twice the car been towed, faulty error messages, hanging of the touchscreen. Tata surely messed up the golden opportunity they had by rushing into the launch of this car. There are huge blindspots due to orvms, you wil definitely hit a biker sometime, steering is too light at 100 plus speed, zero confidence. A word of advice: If you really want to buy harrier, wait for next year when tata fixes the issues

      1. Bought it in 2019 immediately after the launch. So, any sales pitch or convincing factor may seem just a bluff as there is no history of this vehicle statistics, except this was designed by the team who have more than a couple of decades of experience designing and building vehicles such as Jaguar & Land Rover, which is definitely a benchmark to consider. Just went with decision to but and the key factor being - build in India and by an Indian company - TATA Motors. 2. Test drove the Harrier multiple times a kind of research technique wherein every time I drove a vehicle which is pitching on par with Harrier, I used to test drive that vehicle and immediately test drive the Harrier along with my family to get a combined inputs as which vehicle gave the best drive experience when driving at high speeds and braking. 3. Never really care about the cosmetics as they take a very low priority considering this is an SUV - needs to look and play rough or rugged. Ration of the engine size vs the body size vs the wheel size was key. The Innova is a MUV but cannot handle itself at high speeds as the wheel size does not sync with the body size irrespective it is 2.4+ liters, which means it a waste of having that power as you can practically never use full potential because it becomes dangerous to drive beyond certain speed. Experienced the same with MG Hector, KIA vehicles though I had to discard it my first round considering they are not close to 2 liters, but as they priced their vehicles on par with price of Harrier wanted to see what is being promoted and offered, as per me they sell their looks - Cosmetics only. Same as Taigun which just came in and say their one liter engine is an SUV for 20 plus lakhs - what a joke. Harrier is a heavy vehicle with two liter Engine, so having driven similar vehicle in USA and Europe, the fact is already known that the initial first two gears the torque will be high as this is designed for a climb like mountain terrain on a dirt track, and is really good at it. People who have been driving 800 to 1.3 plus cc expect initial speed like a 800cc vehicles, which is a wrong expectation from an SUV. 4. Committed to what ever is been listed in the Sales agreement and Warranty. 5. Pros: Feel Fresh and no feeling of tiredness on every long drive of more that 500 kms - Arrive and then get started to the planned event in no time. 6. Cons: Had initial teething issues with the support team as it was just few Harriers in India and they took time to revert as they used to send the details to the Plant team and they would systematically revert with their analysis and response, which I did like except their is a wait time. NOTE: Though I am writing this review but there no clear authenticity check that I really own a Tata Harrier Vehicle - this needs to be improved as I can write a complete negative review of a vehicle.

      Average got on highway with entry and exit from city 22 km/ l Speed 80 to 90 km/h economy mode. Somewhat unbelievable. 4 or 6 lane Road.22 km/l Two lane Road 17.5 km/l City 12.5 km/l. With decent driving in appropriate modes. Just go for it. And please not compare it with creta or seltos. As it is clearly one segment above

      In terms of riding quality, it offers good experience on rough roads because of high ground clearance and wide wheel base, but on highways at high speeds you don't feel as comfortable as with jeep compass, steering wheel remains light and it makes you scary above 120km to change lanes on high speeds unlike jeep compass where you feel very confident about having control on car even at 140+ speed, Further engine sound is if not very noisy it keeping on to show its presence unlike jeep compass where sound insulation is excellent.... Front console is so designed that if you want to sit high to have a better view of road and surroundings your left knee is very frequently if not continuously in contact with central part of front console and it causes irritation. Driver side front piller (piller A) is wide enough and cause obstruction in view while driving in city traffic. If you love acceleration and responsiveness of engine you will miss it in harrier as detuning of engine made it less powerful, company sales person claimed that it is for fuel economy in usual way and you can experience the same power on sport mode.... But here are two points to discuss, First there is no much difference in claimed milege of compass at given power which is uniform and of harrier on eco mode..... Second on sport mode milege of harrier is reduced very below to that of compass for same power and on sport mode harrier become more noisy more louder. Finally if your concern is saving money and you are a driver with mild temperament not crossing 120 km speed, you usually travel with family and needs bigger back comportment for 3 people, you may opt for harrier... But if you love fun and versatility of driving compass is definitely better choice for driving fun, however you have to pay extra bucks for that fun, but it really worth if you enjoy and love driving..... And all I wrote about is basic driving comfort and fun, features of top model of compass like full sunroof, electric adjustable driver seat, memory seat, etc etc I not talked about.... They are matter of subjective choice and need

      I purchased a top model of harrier dizel, every thing is perfect but the clutch is deep so that I have to keep my driving seat forward and while pushing and releasing the clutch my left knee stricks with deshbord
