This Car is Best in Segment compared to other brands in India... I personally feel that the Car is loaded with many many luxurious features in that price Range.. About Fuel economy, I am getting 22~24 km/ liter on Highways.. What else I can expect from Petrol Car.. I would recommend to buy Sharp Model of MG ASTOR

I Booked MG Astor online after Launch.Showroom contacted me within days and ensured delivery date within a week.Exceeds my expectation compare to previous Ford experience I had.Drove it from Pune to Kolkata and back with full house, never felt lack of power in CVT. Easily handled Off road with enough ground clearance and enough torque mostly during drive in Orissa.Smooth in bad road condition.Never felt fatigue during maximum driving of 700 km.Overall it's what I can expect form an SUV.Looks like a premium car.Many time people took their photos with the car, mostly teenage boys and girls.Service response is very good.No complain after my 2nd free service.As compared to my previous experience with ford, the car was never felt serviced a bit after received from service center.With MG at least I can feel like AC starts cooling more faster. Pros:: Build quality, Interior, ADAS Cons: Poor mileage in CIty, Missing Auto Dimming Mirror.

Cost is very high. Not good as hector. not comfortable for 500km rides. Mileage is just 10-12 km per litre on highway. not worth to spend such big amount on this poor car. ground clearance is low.

I did a test drive of the new MG Astor 1.3AT and 1.5CVT. The first impression of Astor is striking and has an appeal in terms of design, similar to Kia Seltos. The exterior design is same as the MG ZS EV with same proportions. Step into the cabin of the Astor and you can feel the opulence in the quality of the materials used inside of the cabin. Leatherette dashboard and premium seat covers, even the use plastics is of high quality. The ADAS features are definitely worth but not the AI assistant which does seem to be different from competition but not a show stopper. Some of the ADAS features are available in the top section model of sharp(o) which is pricier by close to 1.0 lakhs. The AT model gear change is very smooth while the CVT shows a very minimal lag on pressing the pedal. I drove in peak traffic and the engine responded very smoothly. Pros: Excellent interior quality New segment first features Right pricing considering the long and new features list. Spacious backseat but with less thigh support Cons: No ventilated Seats No front passenger electronic seat adjustment The lower model variants could have had some of the ADAS tech as it is the attraction for customers. Should you buy? I would recommend to buy the sharp variant if you are looking to buy a mid size suv with good safety features. Considering the pricing, its the best fit in the segment.

The car buying experience has been good throughout. The car driving experience has been good so far, it handles well, breaking is good and so is the acceleration. It looks good for an SUV. The areas where it further improves are the mileage and the rear seat design.

This car is loaded with lots of things . Spacious, comfortable, smooth and smart . CVT engine has very smooth gear shifts but don't expect much of power even in turbo. City driving would be seamless , you may want more power on the highway . Overall cost effective and worth the buy.

The buying experience was okay as I had to go through few hurdles when I bought it during semi-conductor or chip shortage issues and there was some delay in delivery with some price hike. Overall good looking vehicle and it is nice to drive but this is not the right choice if we are interested in both fun ride with good mileage. The technology part of the car is good but how much it is helping in Indian traffic conditions is debatable. The servicing and maintenance are good so far with a ~15 months of experience and less than 5 services. Pros: - Good look with decent space inside, - Nice interiors, - Comfortable ride with acceptable engine performance - ADAS features are useful to some extent (adaptive cruise control, brake assist, collision avoiding breaking etc) Cons: - Poor mileage (mandating to accelerate in less than 2 rpm to good better mileage), - AI bot is not very useful, - ADAS is not super helpful in city traffic conditions, - AC is not very effective (missing ventilated seats for the price paid)
