Owning a NexonEV 45 for less than a year, clocked 29500 kms, apart from periodic service, the car needs to visit the workshop for AC motor replacement, Steering Column replacement, repeated wheel balancing issues, despite the car being serviced in the Tata authorised workshop. The car was in the workshop for more than 25 days. The suspension of the car is very bubbly where we can feel jittery at low speeds, which tends to give us a nauseous feeling. This nauseous feeling is enhanced during our travel in the front seat as there is no shoulder support compared to other cars. When we are seated in the front seat, we can feel our shoulder isn’t offered any support, and when the ride is bubbly upto a speed of 50kms within city limits, there is a lot of neck and shoulder pain. The front seats are very small compared to most other cars, rear seat leg room is tight for adults. 4 adults can travel in moderate comfort. Realistic range on highways is 250 -280 kms when travelled at an average speed of 110kms in 4 way roads. The higher the speed lower the efficiency. Highway charging may cost upto Rs. 5/- to Rs. 6/- per km against Rs.3.5/- for within city. Home charging may cost approx Rs.2/- per km. A 50 km uphill travel will cost Rs. 6/- per km, but on return, the car gets fully charged (free) in a downhill journey. Ground clearance is low as the battery is hanging under the chassis, so it can be driven like a car but not like an SUV.

I have been using the Tata Nexon for the last 4 years and have crossed 75000 kms. The car never gave more than 150 km range in Mumbai traffic. Just that the overall running cost was low, so we were happy. But since past 9 months, the battery used to get discharge from 40% to 5% in 5 mins. We submitted the car on 15th November 2025 for review, and they said that the main battery needs to be replaced. It's 30th January, and still they don't have a battery. What's the point of giving a battery warranty if replacement is taking more than 2.5 months, and we still don't know when we will get the car? We cannot trust brand Tata anymore.

Buying experience was good, we were received well and everything was fine.Driving was a nightmare in the starting with glitches so bad that the car turned itself off while going on 80km/h on the outer ring road.A lot of issues but eventually got used to it.Performance is incredible and cost of maintenance is very good.The showroom service is an absolute Nightmare.I am stressing on nightmare as i got my car back so dirty that the car looks 5yrs told in just one year of the cleanest use. Tata service is the worst service, Specially the worst dealership is Tejaswi.The most reckless service someone can give for a car.

The drive was pleasant and I am thinking of purchasing the best model is the A plus empowered 45, it’s better in seating than the curve, it’s the best-selling car, and will be it other vehicle of the same segment that comes on the road.

I have been using this car for 5 months and have driven it for about 17000km. I can say that it is very good. There is no or minimal maintenance required in EVs. When we purchased it, the infotainment system was lagging, but it was fixed at the service center and is now functioning properly. To maintain good battery performance, it's best to use a home charger most of the time. However, if you have no other option or are going on a long run, you can use fast charging. Need a charger with a capacity of more than 60kw in Nexon.

The Tata Nexon excels as a well-rounded compact SUV. The ICE version delivers value-packed performance, comfort, and industry-leading safety. Meanwhile, the Nexon EV impresses in city driving, durability, and overall refinement. Though prospective buyers should test its software interface and consider the realistic driving range.

Even after the full charge of 100%, the full range in eco mode without AC is 372 KM, whereas the TATA says that 489 KM. I have purchased my TATA Nexon EV Fearless 45 Long Range, but the range is not covered as committed by TATA. I think the customers are made foolish by Tata.

I've been driving the car for over six months, and so far, the driving experience has been amazing. Once you get used to the features of this car, it's too hard to drive an ICE car. The most notable features are the Auto Hold and the 360-degree camera view. You hardly notice any noise once the windows are wound up. Overall love this car and enjoy it to the core. I highly recommend this car.
