Words would fall short explaining the Creta 1.6 SX(O) Diesel Manual in words to be honest, though let me summarise it to the point - Majestic, Bold, Silent Cruiser, Soft Roader, Power-packed, Goodie Loaded, Comforting, Travel Companion ALL IN ONE! Buying Experience was hassle free from Modi Hyundai Thane Showroom, Staff Are Attentive and Aptly Responsive. It's like a Give Respect, Get Respect Circuit. Having owned a Hyundai Grand i10 Sportz Diesel 2013, the comfort given by Hyundai was well-known and expected. Though the Creta exceeds those expectations too. Least Bodyroll, Cushioned Sedan like Ride from a Tall-boy SUV is truly commendable. With zero driving fatigue (driven it a maximum of 8hrs at a stretch so far). Truly a Driver's Vehicle, although at par for co-passengers' POV too. The Fascia of The Creta is a lot different from the outgoing look. This one is more enticing and bold with superb road presence and a face of commandment. Although the body doesn't look much different from the outgoing model, the ride quality and interiors are way beyond those of the older model. The 17" Petal Boomerang Alloys are a Treat to the Visual Appeal of the CRETA too. Sporty yet Supple. I particularly like to compare the Creta to a Tiger, mainly due to the engine's grunt that starts on a growl initially, and later flattens out to a silent hum post 2000rpm delivering a silent predator performance on the road. The size isn't too difficult to maneuver around traffic or highway commute routes too. Steering Response is Superb with immaculate control over the usual Hyundai steering which used to offer less feedback from road to driver Inputs. It would sound cynical to compare the handling however to traditional 4x4 considering this is an SUV too, but it certainly takes the potholes and bumps just like a Soft-Roader should. Road undulations are easily managed by the suspension and tyre team in tandem together with minute jingles if approaching bumps or irregular roads at the wrong/high impact speeds. I have so far Received 15-17kmpl in City driving at under 60kmph within city limits and between 18-20kmpl with highway routes at 60-90kmph. Service Costs? Well, if you've owned a sedan, consider this no different and pay at par with Sedan Service Costs - definitely not a gunshot in your pocket as much as the fellow German vehicles would sue behind you with. Think Low Maintenance - Think HYUNDAI. To highlight a few Pros: - Drivability. - Driver/Passenger Ergonomics and Comfort. - Traction Control, Hill Stop Assist truly aiding features. - Overall Seating Space for 5 adults (especially for someone my height 6ft on the driver's seat) - Superb NVH Insulation - Cocooning Cabin - 6 Airbags - Assurance of Superb Safety - Lots More with a never-ending list to be honest Cons are a few: - Wireless Charging may not appeal to someone who doesn't have a wireless charging Supported phone in the first place. And because the slot is not removable either, the space occupied is a waste. - Auto Wipers and Auto Headlights would have been helpful keeping up with the latest trends of Automotive Gizmos and Tech. - Tyre Pressure Sensors Could Help Maintain Tyre Pressure Effectively, considering the vehicle rides on massive 17" Alloys with a large surface area footprint. - 60:40 Split Seats Would have been a treat considering SX (O) being the top end variant. To Sum Up, Thinking of a long lasting road companion? Look nowhere but at the Creta. It will surely leave you speechless in performance and reliability, and would surely give you the subtle yet majestic bang for the buck. I personally switched from buying the Verna to the Creta (of course after comparisons to competition vehicles too). I Solemnly Swear - The Best Road Partner!
