Mercedes-Benz G 350d launched: Now in pictures

German luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz has launched the first non-AMG G-Class in India for a price of Rs 1.5 crores (ex-showroom, all India). Interestingly, the SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre diesel engine that generates 284bhp of power and 600Nm of torque. The Panamericana AMG grille has been replaced with a modest three-slat grille which is flanked by round headlamps with integrated DRLs.

The bumper has been revised with small air intakes.

The body shell consists of various grades of steel while the wings, bonnet and doors are made of aluminium.

The diesel engine is BS-VI compliant and it comes mated to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission.

The vehicle gets 18-inch alloy wheels as standard, while the customer can also choose between 19/20-inch wheels. The company additionally offers six alloy wheel options.

The vehicle further comes with cylindrically shaped LED taillamps and the spare wheel encased in fibre is mounted on the rear door. 

The interior get a special Nappa leather upholstery with handcrafted detailing. 

The premium dashboard boasts of a large 12.3-inch infotainment display with the latest MBUX interface.

The massive boot offers ample space to howl in all the off-road equipment or carry that additional luggage for a family camping trip.
