Long waiting period at showroom made me to go for used car. Got very good deal and car in good condition. I have driven almost 12000Km in last one year and it's my daily usage car to my office, farm and long trips to my native. Road presence is excellent and catches everyone attention whether it's in the city or you go to a village. Ride quality is excellent, however we can notice the gear shift as its AMT. This could have been improved. Excellent Pick-up, Long drive, Tensionless on bad roads saves 10-15% of travel time compared to any sedan for the same distance and road. Due to heavy tyre attached to back door, expect noise on rubble strips and big pathholes. When second row is occupied, noise from behind reduces. Excellent road grip and control. Bluetooth connectivity is not great. While many cars are getting sold, Service centers and support is not increased in the same proportion, that hampers service experience. I managed to get 18KMPL on high way and 12+ in city.

The Thar was seriously very beautiful looking...and the engine....oh my goodness just one of the best engines I have driven. It can go at any terrain. The variant I drove was the petrol automatic which was a splendid powertrain.

Overall the that petrol automatic is a fantastic car I love the power torque and refinement it has superb with the maintenance cost comfort view everything mileage is slightly less overall Thar petrol is power rugged suv

Good not bad stylish maintainable cost is too high good looking performance not bad diesel is good interesting interior fab exterior must buy if cost is reduced it will gain more popularity.

Wonderful experience with this car, It is suitable for rough roads and hilly areas and for adventure trips. It has a royal look, feels like an elephant ride, and overall excellent vehicle.

Thar is tharmar (tamil word) means extraordinary car after ford ecosport I love to drive more thar 2wd because best in all categories expect 3 door and boot space...but I know very well before purchasing car ...best is the segment...Indian made (Ford Bronco) ....thanks Mahindra...need few improvement in service side but overall I'm always happy to drive the car not Thar budget jeep
