Value for money but a little high on fuel car

I thought it was too early for commenting on this car.  I have driven my Accent GLE for about 8000 kms due for the second service.  I see that my car has always been averaging from 8 to 9 kmpl. The dealer here claims that the vehicle should give me about 13-14 kmpl but i'm not sure how far it is possible.

I have done highways a couple of times and I can bet this is the car for it.  It can effortlessly get to 110-140 stepping on the gas.  I still remember it gave about 11-12 on highways.  I'm hoping that the mileage will improve after a couple of more services.  Do you guys think my car needs a tune up? .... But for everything else this car is worth a buy.  Great boot space and a complete family car.  A total 4 out of 5 for this car.. This car can be recommended for all those who want to drive a smoother and a low maintainence car.
