The Taigun GT Plus's main highlight is its driving experience and subtle yet classy design, Space in the car is good but comfort is not as good as competitors because of its stiff suspension, The DSG gearbox is class-leading and shifts are super smooth, servicing is a little costlier than rivals but the drivetrain which this car offers at this price point, it is impossible to find the same fun to drive element in other cars of this segment.

Overall A good feeling about the look and space. A good driving experience for the segment. Alloys in the base model and reverse camera expected at this price would have been added advantage. Safety a first priority in life is well maintained.

I purchased a Taigun 1.0 Highline about a year ago. From the early days of ownership, I noticed a noise while applying the brake. I reported this issue to the service centre on two occasions, but each time I was told that it was a common problem with this vehicle. At the time of the first service, after about 13,000 km, the service centre advised me to replace both the brake discs and brake pads at a cost of around ₹12,000. I strongly objected and demanded company support. After considerable follow-up and pressure, they finally agreed to replace the brake discs and pads by compensating about 90% of the cost. In contrast, I previously owned a Maruti Swift, which I drove for nearly 1,20,000 km without needing to replace the brake discs even once. Although Volkswagen eventually addressed the issue, the entire process significantly affected my peace of mind as an owner. In short, while the vehicle performs well in terms of safety and driving comfort—especially on highways—I have serious concerns about its long-term reliability.
