I have purchased the Duster car for more than a year now.

This was from the JP Nagar Showroom in Bangalore. Guruprasad was the sales guy for the accessories.

The sales guys convinced me to go for a video player that was sold as an accessory. It did not come cheap. Close to 35K.

Right from the time it was delivered it did not work with the Steering Controls. Now I have followed up with the Sales guys several times, every time they say they will send the vendor, or someone to fix the issue but that never happened.

During the first service, they said this was missed and they will send someone to fix it.

Now during the second service they say that the product recommended is not compatible at all with the Steering controls.

I just feel completely cheated by Renault.

      My number is +91 99456 93822.

      Regards

      Anand Kulkarni

      Exterior

Very good, looks like a beast, has the qualities of suv but I would not call it an SUV but true compact SUV. has a rigid and tough body (better than Hyundai).

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Space and comforts are good however, not very good with interiors but still worth the cost. ample leg room for a six foot man. good seat position but cabin looks bland. Powerfull AC and also good driver information from the trip meter. however just one button for many options.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Noise and Vibration are comparetively on the higher side but can be considered, engine does an amzing work in terms of power and milage is of about 13 in city (Bangaluru traffic) and about 19 in the highway under moderate driving. Gear box is lilttle hard.

      Ride Quality & Handling

Amazing driving experince, no blind spots my wife feels comfortable drving this than I20 (my previous car). road view is very good, no much body roll, stability on road is good, overall a very nice experience when it comes to driving.

      Final Words

As said a true compact SUV worth the money and definitly beats the compitators overall, however misses few latest technology like auto AC, one touch electonic windows and a arm rest.

      Areas of improvement

       Quality of interior.

ABS and EBD to be as standard across all varients.

      smooth gear box.

Worth for the money (After the discount ), ground clearece, maneuverability, external looks,Interiors could have been made better

I bought this car coz i was bored with my hatch. The main problem with the hatchbacks is the suspension and with indian roads these get worse in some years. Also because of low ground clearance its difficult to ride in urban areas. So i decided to move to SUV. I took test drive of ecosport but it lacked in power punch and then its overall dimension is not impressive. Then i thought of Creta, it had an impressive torque and power but i dint liked the suspension system. I beleived this comfort driven suspension system will become a problem some years later. The price tag with creta is also a big question specially when you look at how the models are placed (1.6 S is not an option). So finally I moved to Duster . I liked the power, torque initial grudge for speed and the gear ratio. I also liked the suspension (independent).Boot Space is best in class. After 3 years the torque and suspension are still in very good shape which is what i was looking for and so Duster has met all of my expectations with 3 lacks less than Creta.

Its very nice car, no car compare for boot space and second row space and ground clearance. Its ideal for highted persons. I suggest one thing that every duster must be feeted an airbags compalsury because its a heavy car and every driver drive it high speed.

Duster is a feature rich and good looking SUV in the class. I have had a great experience driving duster on a long journeys and it has good pickup and performance on the highways as there is no lag, overtaking is much fun. 5 people can sit comfortably in the Duster and a great suspension makes the bad roads irrelevant. Very glad to have bought this SUV and will recommend to those who travel frequently. I have driven it for almost 5000 km now and I am most happy about low maintenance. I have bought the 85PS diesel variant in black colour. The service centre is a good one and I have never faced any issues with the car until now, which I hope I will never face any issues in the future as well.It has a macho look that no car in the segment has and that gives it an advantage.

Its robust exterior and striking decals with bold graphics give it an imposing presence. On the inside , the stylish dual tone tailor made interior carry forward the same adventures attitude with a dash of sophistication.
