Exterior Best in class styling, front side is aggresively spaced, boot space is placed very neatly to look it like a complete sub sedan car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space is best is extremely good: 5 persons can comfortably travel for very long distances, and seats are very comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is refined and tuned, performance is great, TATA have put exteme efforts to put noise insulation to almost nill. Engine is peppier and very responsive. noise is nigligible as compared to other diesel cars in same category.

Ride Quality & Handling Good Ride Quality, handling car is so easy in any situation. Steering wheel is light and responsive. It is very easy to drive it in traffic.

Final Words Extremely good product from TATA, really Best in class in all sections. Car is spacious in cabin and in boot aswell.

Areas of improvement No area of improvement as of now as I have already driven more than 5,000 kms on all kind of drive conditions.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It is outfitted with body- hugging rugby shoulders seats and best in class interior space which makes long drive a pleasure.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Revotron engine is good. it is noise free. I have got an average of 14 with ac in city. Gear box is also good.

Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality  is excellent. it gives a pleasure on long drive.

Final Words I HAVE BOOKED ZEST XMS ON 29/08/2014 AT RANCHI.BUT STILL I AM WAITING FOR DELIEVERY. ALL OF THE SALES STAFF HAD COMMITED ME THAT YOU GOT IT ON 29/09/14 . BUT STILL I FEEL BOTHERD BY THESE PERSONS.

Areas of improvement I HAVE HEARD ONE OF MY WELL WISHERS BEFORE BOOKING  THAT TATA IS POOR IN SERVICE(PRE & POST) AND NOW I AM BOTHERING. YA THAT IS 100% TRUTH AND COMPANY PROVES THAT TATA HINDI MEANS BYE BYE AND The Company IS MOVING FORWARD ON THIS PATH.

I have been a car owner since last fifteen years , owned maruti , ford, Honda, Toyota before finally purchasing Indica, a Tata car. I was pleasantly impressed with quality and vfm which Tata offered me with Indica, since then I purchased three Tata cars Nano and Zest finally. I have become brand loyal to Tata car as they gave me least amount of problems.

My experience with Zest Revetron XT: I bought zest in November 2014 and have driven about 11000 kms since then. I was very happy with zest right from beginning with features it offered , safety and vfm. My only issue with car was little low on mileage it offered initially. I got the car checked for mileage at Concorde motors , Mumbai . It was just few months before my second service was due. Since then my mileage has continuously been going up. I drove from Mumbai to Ankaleshwar on 8 th February 2016, a distance of 350 km , I was pleasantly surprised with high mileage I got , point to point I got 19.2 kms / ltr . This included about 50 kms city driving in Mumbai and Vapi.

After my halt at Vapi , I reset average meter A to Zero for re-checking . I was astonished with high mileage a 1100 kilos + heavy zest Revetron petrol xt gave me, average of 22.5 to 24. Entire distance of 160 kms , it never dropped below 22. To be honest I would have been happy with 16 km average but 22 plus mileage for petrol car ,Its a very very pleasant surprise. I do not have patience to drive in eco mode so it was city mode all throughout.

The Revetron engine is a delightful machine, as my car opens a bit more with more usage, I hope to get better the mileage , should I expect 25 ?

I am a very cautious driver and entire stretch maintained speed of around 80 kms an hour. With help of modern features available in the car like INSTEFE meter, average meter it assisted me in correcting my driving.

Zest and Revetron simply rock , thanks Tata for giving me a complete family car for my requirements.

Engine is evergreen And mileage is superb It looks like a classic car Performance is very good I like its mileage and engine performance And it is more space between 2 rows How long we drive it can't decrease its mileage Its colour variants look shine And air conditioning is excellent And also it has more ground clearance than other cars

Tata has done great things to promote this car in bright light. It has done best work in designing interior and exterior and for driving comfort. By looking at exterior, It is difficult to judge that this is from Tata or from some other expensive brands. Ride & Handling are too class. 200-300 kms in a day can be driven without any discomfort. Seating is very comfortable. Back side seats are very wide and leg room is very large. Infotainment system is stylist in look and best in performance with JBL speaker. It can give you feeling of High end Luxury car. On mileage part too, Tata has done good work..I am getting mileage of 14-15 km/L in city mode in city and 20-22km/L in Eco mode on Highway. In customer service, Tata needs to improve a lot to compete with Honda and Hyundai. I faced some problems in after sales service. Finally they helped me to sort out problems. Other than this, Best car to buy in this budget. Best feature are there compare to Other cars at this cost. Above all, This is a Indian Car.

 it just looks awesomemine is white cloor xms varient anf looks quite a looker .front facia looks impressive with projector head lamps and chrome details at fog lamps.i can see people peering over for a clear ;ook and thats when you know you are driving one really good looking car.

 its satisfactory and feels luxurious with piano finish center console and beige interiors.at the priced i paid ,i can say i got a product well beyond that measure.sound system is good and cabin feels spacious and airy with loads of headroom and legroom.5 members can travel in comfort.i was initially thouht of not having a cetnter armrest as a negetive but later i realised that it can make the middle passenger uncomfortable with stiff back and may be thats why tatas omitted it and now thats ok on practical grounds..

 engine fells smooth at speeds of 140 and no noise penetrates the cabin.steering feed back is good and feels planted giving confidence to speed further.iam getting 22 on highways and 19 in city driving.gear shifs are smooth cluth is light and feels like driving a petrol car.i hav driven many makes like swift and fiesta.but none has given me this satisfaction.sometimes i feel that blind spot is more particularly steep overs.

Ride Quality & Handling

ride quality is good and even after driving continously 700 kms i felt no fatique or backacahe and the drive was without fuss engaging myself with good music.

Final Words

 i feel happy that i chose a car that could serve for years without giving me headaches and gives pleasure of driving and luxury.

Areas of improvement  

 some clubby holes here and ther and a lamp inside biit ,a folding or split for back seat

 

   milage,looks and comfortno split seats for second rpw and small detais like water bottle holders etc

Exterior Good Design, Swanky Alloy wheels, High luminous light, fog lamps, high ground clearance.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfortable, Spacious, Loaded with so many features, adjustable seat & stearing, lots of space inside as well boot space, so many features in odometer & Speedometer.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance ok, Average very bad: 8-10 as of now, gear smooth except back gear.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride good but again bad pick up on inclinations, i think one cann't go on hills, it might be risky when there is more than 40 degree inclination,  hand brake not so good again risky.

Final Words Superb car for city drivers  but for touring & excursion on hills seems risky because of very less pick up on inclinations. Suspension is again very good, you might not get jerks on uneven roads & small speed breakers.

Music systems is more of mini home theatre with so many features. Stylish stearing.

Design, Comfort, Space, Looks, Suspension, Music system, Interior.Poor Fuel Economy & Very poor Pick Up at inclination.

This is my first car.  I'm using this car from October'2014.  I learned driving on this car, and drove 5500+ KM by now.

Exterior Excellent design.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superior, I can't ask more space than this.  Excellent Infotainment system by Harman.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I like the performance of the engine in long rides, but somehow I feel the pickup is little bit low.  I'm getting around 13 KM/litre mileage in City.  Getting 14-15 in long drives.  Even on bumpy roads, you feel verry comfortable.  Gear box should have been more smoother.

Ride Quality & Handling One word, awesome, you can't expect more than this from a car with this price range

Final Words You shouldn't expect more than what TATA is giving for this price range.  They put a lot of effort for the interiors, and it is worth to have it.  Infotainment system is very very good.

Areas of improvement Gear box should have been more smoother.  They have to improve a lot in after sales service, most of the technicians seems doesn't have the knowledge of this new engine.
