I’ve been using the Volvo EX30 RWD Ultra for a while now, and honestly, it’s been a refreshing shift into the EV world. The car feels solid and premium the moment you step in. That Scandinavian minimalist design really hits different… subtle, classy and no drama. Compact size makes it practical for our city conditions too, especially in places like Bangalore and Chennai traffic where every inch matters. On the road, the instant pickup puts a smile on your face every time. One-pedal driving is super convenient in stop-and-go traffic. Highway performance is also confidence-inspiring, feels planted and stable even at higher speeds. Cabin insulation is top-notch, and the music system is genuinely enjoyable for those long drives. Tech experience has been smooth. Google integration just makes life easy. Cameras, parking assist, ADAS… all feel polished and reliable. Now, coming to the practical bits and some areas to improve: • Range is good for daily commute, but spirited driving and AC usage definitely impact it more than expected. • Touch-heavy interior is modern, but a few physical buttons for frequently used controls would save time. • Charging infrastructure outside metro areas is still inconsistent, so long trips need planning. • Rear seat space is decent but not super roomy. Works for city family usage but tall passengers might feel it. Overall, for the price, it punches above its weight. Premium feel, strong performance, loaded tech, and perfect city EV size. A few small compromises, but nothing deal-breaking. If you want a compact luxury EV that brings a smile every day, this one does the job beautifully.
