The Indian film industry is one of the largest in the world. Given that we have many languages in India you can expect films of diverse kind. The most famous of this lot is obviously Bollywood which is basically the Hindi film industry. It has been around for many years and produces intellectual lore as well as masala that appeals to the masses who want entertainment.
It was no surprise then, when Red Bull decided on a Hindi movie theme and one of the Telegu film industry’s fastest rising stars for its latest video that it shot when it ran its Red Bull show car in Hyderabad recently.
Now let me just layout some of the elements and you can put them together in your head before watching the video which has aptly been titled Faraar. There are bad guys, some fast cars (F1 V8 fast!), narrow streets full of people and of course none other than Naga Chaitanya and Red Bull’s very own David Coulthard who drive the fast cars in an exuberant style while outwitting the baddies on their own turf.
Obviously, just a video of what I have described above would be like eating plain rice with no dal/pickle/bee..oops chicken curry. So to fire up the tastes (much like a well-made Hyderabadi biryani) there is some excellent background scores interspersed with the high-pitched whine of the F1 V8.
Beyond this I will not go too much into the video as this article then becomes a spoiler for some fantastic action conceptualised and shot by our friends at PowerDrift.
