First images of the Audi Q8 in its real body

Audi gave us a sneak preview of the Q8 recently, showcasing the design direction of its 2018 production model. Our spy photographers have snapped the SUV in its real body, but of course, in a camouflaged avatar.

The images of the test mule show us the shape of the Q8, which looks more like a coupe variant of the Q7. The concept sketches of the same shared earlier by the carmaker gave us an impression of the SUV being a very aggressive looking vehicle. However, it's not as muscular and aggressive as previewed. Nonetheless, it definitely looks more muscular than the Q7.

We can expect the Audi Q8 to carry over the Q7's powertrain. Also, there might be an SQ8 variant later and even an e-tron Hybrid model. More details will be shared next week when the automaker displays the concept at the Detroit Motor Show.
