Tata Tigor, the newbie from the Indian automaker is all set for launch on March 29. The style-back sub-4 metre sedan was recently unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Bookings for the same began a while ago at a token amount of Rs 10,000. Based on the Tata’s IMPACT design philosophy the Tigor is the latest one to command attention.
Knowing how sensitive this segment is to pricing, we find out if the Tigor has the firepower to punch over its weight and take on the uncrowned king of the compact sedans, the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire.
Amidst a spate of unveilings at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Tata Motors has introduced its first ‘Styleback’ – Tigor Geneva Edition at the ongoing event. The new model takes the next step in the IMPACT design journey. The Tigor will be powered by a Revotron 1.2-lite 3-cylinder Petrol engine with multi drive modes.
The Tigor will carry forward all of the virtues of the Tata Tiago and get more space, making it an interesting proposition. Adding the good looks to the equation makes it more desirable too. So then, it boils down to the pricing.
Its official! The long awaited Tata Kite 5 compact sedan has been christened the Tigor. Termed a ‘Styleback’ this will be the new offering from the Mumbai based automaker and will slot in above the Tiago in their hierarchy.
