Land Rover Cars

The Land Rover Range Rover, simply called as athe Range Rover is a luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) from Land Rover, aunder the marque of Jaguar Land Rover. British Leyland launched the Range Rover in 1970 and the flagship model is currently in its fourth generation. The British brand exclusively offers premium and luxury sport utility vehicles. The company is owned by multinational car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), which is now owned by Tata Motors, since 2008. The JLR builds Land Rovers in Brazil, China, India, Slovakia and the United Kingdom.

The design for the original vehicle was started in 1947 by Maurice Wilks. Wilks, chief designer at the Rover Company, on his farm in Newborough, Anglesey, workeding in conjunction with his brother Spencer who was the managing director of Rover. The Land Rover fleet in India includes Discovery Sport, Evoque, Range Rover, Velar, Range Rover Sport and the Discovery.
