    • Bring home the nightmare with Harrier EV
Buying the Tata Harrier EV turned out to be my worst car ownership experience. Within the very first week, the vehicle started showing serious issues, including software glitches, infotainment failure, reverse camera malfunction, side mirrors tilting downward automatically while driving, key detection problems, and even failure to shift from Parking to Drive/Reverse. These issues created stressful and embarrassing situations in traffic. The bigger disappointment was the after-sales service. Service centres appeared overcrowded, understaffed, and poorly trained for EV-related problems. Every workshop visit lasted around a week, and in just 6 months, my vehicle spent nearly 6–8 weeks at the service centre. Shockingly, I received automated messages saying “service rescheduled as per your request” despite never requesting it, making records appear falsely efficient. To make matters worse, all four tyres were nearly worn out by just 18,000 km, with replacement costs close to ₹1 lakh. Finally, I had to sell the vehicle within 6 months, suffering a loss of nearly ₹10 lakh. Please research carefully before buying.

    • Most stylish 2025 Complete SUV
It's the most stylish and powerful SUV. Nobody can offer such a futuristic car at such a reasonable price, but only Tata can do it. Torque is more than 500NM, really awesome, and overall build quality is premium.

    • Would be a great comfort
Awaiting its booking to start. Had been waiting for this car's launch. Was hoping that the top-end model rear seats to be similar, if not better, compared to INNOVA HYCROSS top model second row seats. Especially for the elderly, calf support would be a great comfort.

The Tata Harrier EV doesn’t just break the mould—it redefines it. With its blend of leading-edge technology, potent yet polished performance, safety credentials, and real-world practicality, it earns the “marvellous” tag on all counts. Yes, there are a few rough edges—but the experience it delivers is undeniably luxurious, thrilling, and forward-looking.

    • The golaith of power but not at its peak
Buying the Empowered QWD 75 7.2kW Stealth ACFC was smooth, with clear guidance on installation and usage. The charger looks premium and blends well with my parking space. Performance is reliable, delivering consistent and fast AC charging without overheating. Daily driving feels stress-free knowing charging is efficient and safe. Servicing support has been responsive, and maintenance requirements are minimal. Pros: fast 7.2kW output, sturdy build, silent operation, smart safety features. Cons: initial cost is slightly high, installation depends on wiring quality. Maintenance tips: ensure proper earthing, keep the unit dust-free, avoid water exposure, periodically check cables and connectors, and get wiring inspected annually for long-term reliability.

    • Good car from the worst brand
      user-review-images-1063929-0
The car is fantastic. But there sales, service and corporate support are immensely bad. They are just making fool of customers. Sales guys loots you in name of high demand. Service guys misbehaved you in name of over burden and the real shame is - Tata Motors as a corporate never cares. No parts availablity, and please forget about warranty. Even when you buy a 30 lacs car, you never ever a get a call back for feedback itself. So don't waste time and money with Tata.

    • Good and best car
The Harrier EV is Tata’s flagship electric SUV, built on its ACTi.ev / ACTi.ev+ EV architecture. It’s pitched as a premium offering — with a strong range, modern features, and optional all-wheel drive (AWD) for those wanting more performance or off-road ability. Key Specs & Configurations Feature Details Battery Packs Two battery options: 65 kWh and 75 kWh (LFP chemistry). Drive Layouts Most variants are rear-wheel drive (RWD). The top 75 kWh version also has a dual-motor AWD option. Power / Torque RWD versions: ~238 hp; AWD version: ~313 hp. Torque for the AWD version is ~504 Nm. 0-100 km/h The AWD/dual motor top version: claimed ~6.3 seconds. Range (Claimed vs Real-World) • Claimed (MIDC): up to ~627 km for the 75 kWh RWD; ~622 km for AWD 75 kWh. • Real world: ~480-505 km in many conditions for the 75 kWh RWD; for AWD slightly less. Charging • AC: Comes with a 3.3 kW charger standard; an optional 7.2 kW AC fast charger (extra cost/installation). • DC Fast Charge: Supports ~120 kW, 20-80% in ~25 minutes. Price (ex-showroom, India) ~ ₹ 21.49 lakh for the base RWD 65 kWh; top AWD 75 kWh around ₹ 28.99-29 lakh. Intermediate variants fill in between. Dimensions / Other Specs Wheelbase is same as ICE Harrier: 2,741 mm. Boot space ~502 litres, more with rear seats folded. Features & Technology Modern styling touches: closed-off grille, aero-optimised alloys, EV badging. Slight changes from ICE Harrier but still familiar. Interior: big Samsung Neo QLED ~14.53-inch infotainment screen; digital driver display; dual-tone interiors; ambient lighting; powered / ventilated front seats; “Boss mode” for 2nd row in higher trims; powered tailgate. Off-road / terrain assist features: multiple terrain modes (Normal, Mud-Ruts, Sand, Snow/Grass, Rock Crawl, Custom) for AWD / top trim. Off-road assist, etc. Safety & driver aids: Level-2 ADAS in higher trims; 360° camera (540° surround/transparent mode in top trims), blind spot monitoring, multiple airbags, stability/traction control etc. Other niceties: panoramic sunroof; V2L / V2V functionality; OTA updates; voice assistant; digital inside rear-view mirror (with dashcam in some trims). Driving Experience & Comfort What the early reviews / sources indicate: Acceleration is quite brisk in the AWD top trim. 6.3 s to 100 km/h is competitive for its class. Great if you want performance. Range seems reasonable for real-world usage: the claimed 480-505 km for the 75 kWh RWD seems achievable under moderate conditions. If you do a lot of highway + AC + speed, expect somewhat lower. Ride and handling: likely to be good; Tata has improved suspension; wheelbase is long so should have decent legroom and stability. But heavy vehicle, large wheels may compromise some comfort over bad roads. Charging infrastructure depending on your city will govern usability. Fast charging helps for longer trips; for daily city use the AC charger will matter more. Pros & What’s Good Excellent value for what is offered — range, features, AWD as an option, performance. Very strong range (especially in RWD 75 kWh). Helps reduce range anxiety. Strong feature list — some segment-leading features like 540° surround view (transparent mode), V2L/V2V, advanced ADAS, etc. Multiple variants to pick from, so you can choose what fits budget / usage. Good power / torque, especially the AWD version, which makes it fun and capable. Cons / Limitations & Things to Watch Top trims / AWD version will cost more (both in ex-showroom price, and likely insurance, maintenance etc.). Real-world range will drop if you use AC a lot, drive fast, or in hilly areas. Mumbai/Delhi conditions may differ from Warangal. Charger availability: while DC fast chargers are growing in India, their presence on highways or remote areas is still inconsistent. You’ll need good access (or home charging). Weight & size: large SUV = heavy; might feel less nimble in city traffic; parking might be a challenge; large wheels might transmit harsher bumps. After-sales, software reliability, and service network for EVs (especially for newer features) will be crucial. Sometimes newer tech has teething issues. The cost of optional extras (like faster AC charger, etc.) will add up. Installation costs, etc. How It Stands vs Competitors Compared to other EVs in similar price/range: It tends to undercut many rivals on price for the features offered. The AWD + big battery + features package is strong. In terms of range, it's among the top in its segment in India (especially for RWD). In features, it matches or beats many rivals in tech / safety / assist features. Might lose out if someone wants ultra-fast charging or ultra high performance, or if someone is okay with less range but wants more luxury premium feel. Verdict: Is It Worth Buying? Yes — if your priorities include: needing a strong EV with long range for both city + occasional highway, wanting modern tech and safety features, OK with paying a premium for top trims (but the base trims are quite attractive), having or planning to have access to good charging infrastructure (especially DC fast chargers or home charging). Be wary if: most of your driving is in areas with poor charger access, price sensitivity is high — the optional extras can push up cost, you do a lot of steep uphill / heavy duty off-roading frequently (though AWD helps).

    • Best EV SUV in India – Powerful, Comfortable & Future-Ready
I purchased the Tata Harrier EV as a brand-new car and my overall experience has been excellent. The buying experience at the showroom was smooth and transparent. The design looks bold and premium, especially the front and road presence. Driving experience is outstanding with instant torque, silent cabin and very smooth acceleration. Ride quality is comfortable even on rough roads, and the suspension handles bumps very well. The interior feels spacious, modern and well built with advanced features and safety options. Battery range is impressive for daily city use as well as highway drives. Charging is convenient and running cost is very low compared to petrol or diesel cars. Maintenance is minimal and Tata’s service network gives confidence. Overall, Tata Harrier EV is a perfect combination of performance, comfort, safety and value for money. Highly recommended for anyone planning to shift to an electric SUV.
