Bought it in 2023, April, the BS6 phase 2 variant. Incredible AT transmission, although if it was tuned to switch to 6th gear around the speed of 80-85, it could have given an even better mileage. The mileage on highways is excellent and can go upto 17.5+ without cruise and 18+ with cruise, which is Excellent for an AT. In city the mileage does drop to around 9-11, and it is a tragedy (no hidden joke here), the braking gives us great confidence regarding safety, and overall car feels safe. The engine noise is negligible, it is very quite. Car skips over small road holes like its nothing. Have driven it with 5 people and it doesn't seem to take any load, or rather it doesn't feel like it's taking any. In the top model However, you do feel they left out some features to increase sales of XUV700, but there are almost every feature that is necessary, for a technically challenged father who drove a 2015 maruti, it doesn't take much long to get accustomed to it. The Adrenox app is a blessing. The car gives you a great push and a great pickup, the looks are excellent on side and front, the backside isn't as good but it isn't ugly as well. Overall 10/10, value for money, and can buy again.

-The buying experience was genuine and it depends on your sales executive as well. In my case it was fantastic. The riding experience was amazing. True SUV size, seating is very high, and visibility is great. Smooth suspension with some body roll of course, but that is the charm of the SUV on a ladder frame. -The car looks stunning in black and looks huge though tyre size of 18 inches looks small, and 17 inches is too small for this car. But the tyre can be upgraded as the car has a lot of suspension travel. -Powerful and smooth performance, a bit noisy on low rpm, and when you push hard turbo makes a grunting noise which I will talk about in my 3rd service. -Regarding mileage, we have both Manual and Automatic in the family. Automatic is sadly less fuel efficient as the torque converter shift between 3-4 takes 2200 rpm. Before shift unnecessary throttle causes less mileage. Maximum mileage in city traffic is 8-9 KMPL and on the highway, it is 12-13 KMPL. Whereas in Manual Transmission it is 12-13 KMPL in the city and 15-16 KMPL on the highway. But driving a car this huge with a Manual transmission doesn't make sense in today's world. Air-conditioner chills ridiculously. -Overall fine but on a high-speed car loses track on the speed breaker and also makes a rattling noise. -Better than the competition in many aspects although the choice is subjective to individual needs. It can be compared with Safari but not with Fortuner.

Took a test drive from Koncept Mahindra, Lajpat Nagar today_ Mode: Petrol Z8L AT Issues / Cons: 1) Car inside smells badly of Petrol, could not bear the drive for 5 mins, it made it difficult to sit inside with AC on 2) No captain seats on lower versions 3) Extremely unusable / cramped 3rd row 4) 2nd row too seems uncomfortable with driver seat positioned back 5) Boot space unusable 6) Not worth being Big Daddy of SUVs. 7) Smaller cars /Mid size SUVs / MUVs give better comfort. 8) Could not feel Sony system with 6+ speakers...Local speakers would produce better sound 9) Mileage as per the instrument cluster was just 4 km/l, May be due to being test drive vehicle, I am not sure. 10) Higher models look extremely expensive, though AT pricing is yet to be announced.

The buying experience is wonderful. Drive quality is unmatched. The look is so refreshing and masculine. Road presence is unbeatable. Really it is a Big Daddy of available SUVs. Loved it!!! My first service is due in the next few days so no service experience till date. All good so far no bad in it.

Killer looks, from front and side High seat Ac cooling superb in 2nd row also Very light steering in city Sunroof is very big though not panoramic 18inch machine cut alloy Big ORVM Petrol automatic, very good pickup Pros. Biggest pro, why i had to skip buying this car is. Driver seat is very congested, door handle penetrates right knee, left knee also gets penetrated by plastic on left. Driver seat Not for wide people. I thought Scorpio is made for large built people, but it is not. Back side look very disappointing 3rd row seat. Why 2nd row not sliding to give more space to third row? Why 3rd row is not 50:50 split? And if we have back door sideway open with door handle inside, then why not jump seats provided? Why no ac vents in 3rd row. Fabric used in boot space is very cheap quality. Verdict. Not for wide built driver. And this car is good from front till 2nd row, 3rd and back is full of design flaws.

Ride and comfort quality high standard. I can assure this can beat any other SUV in this segment. Interior quality is like fabulous and it looks like 50L car not 20L. I got my car in 1 month post my booking so I amazed with Mahindra service.
