In Comfort mode, it’s calm and floaty; switch to Dynamic mode and it instantly tightens up and feels much sportier. The power delivery is strong and effortless, and gear shifts are seamless — you almost don’t notice them. Feature-wise, it has pretty much everything you can think of — a panoramic sunroof, a fantastic Meridian sound system, 360-degree cameras, adaptive cruise control, the list goes on. It’s packed with tech but never feels overwhelming. And while it’s more of a luxury city SUV, it still has proper Range Rover DNA — the all-wheel drive and terrain response modes handle rough roads surprisingly well. Fuel efficiency isn’t its strongest point, but that’s expected from a car in this class. Maintenance can be on the higher side, too, but that comes with the territory when you’re talking about a luxury SUV. Overall, driving the Velar has always felt like an experience, not just a drive. It’s stylish, comfortable, and powerful — everything you’d want from a luxury SUV. If you want something that stands out and makes every drive feel special, the Velar does exactly that.
