Exterior Exterior looks appealing but parts are of poor quality and gets worn out easily

Final Words looks impressive but a bad buy even though it is a seven seater only five people can sit comfortable in it. parts are really substandard. my car clutch plate damaged in 16000 kms and company didnot replace it. interior materials are really bad. arm rest stoopped down in six months. for the same cost better vehicles are available. i am totally disappointed with the space and the quality of the parts. mahindra vehicles seem to stopped believe in customer satisfaction

Exterior Very good, compact car. Good polish and paint quality. No accessories available.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space good for front two seats, should have given a provision to remove rear seats and have more leg space in between.
AC is powerful, but not @ noon time @ 40 degrees. have to keep fan spped high and then it is noisy, plastic finish could be better, no dashboard space.there are no accessories available in the market. All the gizomos availabe in dealership are twice expensive than outside market
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Verygood performance, gear shift problem from 5th to 4th, feels as if you are working on a manual synch gear box, else great car.

Areas of improvement Dealerships ! worst dealers in Pune, feel like telco dealars are better !! Quanto is bought by a different class of people but Mahndra has a serios job to educate the sales people. very poor service atitude ! no class. The only thing Mad=hindra sess is becasue of the quality of cars rather than good dealership.

The Mahindra Quanto can do everything that a hatchback can only dream of. And more. The Quanto leaves you in no doubts about its machismo or its SUV lineage. You'll see it in the front fascia, you'll feel it in its distinct alloy wheels and you will notice it even in the stepney at the back.
Having the three pot motors' traditional imbalance in mind, I actually prepared myself for a thrummy startup but the Quanto didn't make much of a noise and at idling, felt like a normal four cylinder engine.It was when easing off the clutch that a gruff voice emanated under the hood and the NVH package did very little to keep the occupants away from it.
The noise only grew louder with every centimeter of the throttle travel and one is forced to shift to second gear as soon as possible.The Quanto's diesel heart gets quieter progressively as you move up the cogs and gets unobtrusive only while cruising under 3,000 rpm.

Exterior Very good exterior, poor indicators ever reflect. Very dangerous to park with out parking lights on. The dirt behind the tyre are always seen, no proper covering between the tyre and the body. No mud flaps for rear tyre, will make the car dam dirty.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good, but c4 does not have hand rest for the driver. Driving without handrest is very difficult. Even that is not available in accessories. Mahindra should really look into it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good engine performance, poor millage. Hardly it is 12 in city and 14 in Highway. No way the top gear can be used in city.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good for the initial payment, after that you will be left with no option but to live as they don’t provide the required accessories for C4. Wish they do it.
Final Words As long as you don’t worry for paying for fuel, pl go ahead, its good!!!

Plastics could have been better. Good space in the second row of seats. Third row can be used by one adult.

Amazing pickup on the highway upto 100kmph beyond it gasps a lot. Fuel economy within the city 11-12 kmpl could be improved if driving is smooth. Gear box a bit clumsy could have been smoother.Highways mileage 18-20 at 100kmph.

ride quality a Bit bumpy but not bad. I have travelled in other SUVs and marginal difference is what can be said. Handling is good.

Good car for people who ant good cabin space easy driveability within the city and good performance on the highway.

Exterior A very sport look especially the rear portion becuase of the spare wheel. The tail light goes well with the exterior.

Areas of improvement Should have more color options like sky blue, military green, lemon yellow, beige and steel grey. It looks like Xylo from front view. Should make some changes in the grill so that it can be idetified uniquely. A rear A/C vent would help. Adjustable driver seat option should be available in all the variants. Seating posture for the middle seat needs to made more comfortable.

Final Words The engine of Mahindra Quanto is one of the most interesting engine of today’s time. The sub 1.5L diesel engine is not a newfangled engine in Mahindra’s engine line-up rather it is the toned down version of the 2.2L mhawk diesel engine. Value for money compact yet stylish Tall boy look gives a sporty Jeep look with the stepney at the rear door cannot be compared wirth any other hatchbacks as this does not fit in the other hatchback cars , overall very practical car looking at the current trend of people in india graduating towards the compact utility vehicle.
Areas of improvement Not much except the the 2 small jumpseats at the third row very small but never the less looking at the size of the suv.

Exterior Spare wheel on rear door looks nice, the cover is neat. Looks 0.8 Xylo.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Driver seat is very comfortable and very well eargonomically designed. You are in complte control with tall & broad vision, comfortable sit, arm rest and right elbo resting on the door. Rear viewing is very good with all three mirrors sufficiently broad and well placed.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Specifically i took the test drive to evaluate Gear Shift comfort. Its much better than Scorpio though not as smooth as XUV. Gear throw is smooth, the lever does not vibrate much. engine is little noisy but Mahindras have provided nice music system with all USB and AUX connections. Engine is responsive and pick-up is enough for city driving conditions. Cant comment on fuel efficiency. Thankfully clutch is not light, required in city driving.

I m owning a mahindra quonto from jan 2013. The car is not cooling. Ac vent is not of use. This car ac can be used only in winter because in every climatic condition it only heats up.
[The car is giving mileage of not more than 10 kmpl but cmpany promised 17.2 kmpl. The car spares r making noise in just 10 month god knows what will happen further. Instead u should by a tractor instead of quonto because that will be your moneyvalue. [ U SHOULD 1ST TEST DRIVE FOR 2 OR 4 HOURS OF YOUR FRIENDS SO THAT U WILL EXPERIANCE MY WORDS ON YOUR OWN]. Bying this car is worthless the paint of this car is being decayed up in 10 month so I not need more thing u shud understand on your own if exterior is not good what will be he quality of interior.
