The first working prototype of the Azani is set to be showcased in the second half of 2022, though the launch date is yet to be confirmed
Engine and specifications
Mean Metal Motors claims the Azani will have a fully electric drivetrain with the electric motor(s) delivering a maximum of 986bhp, with an estimated 0-100kmph in under 2.0 seconds and a top speed of 350kmph. The company claims the Azani will also have a mind-blowing range of 550 – 700km on a single charge.
The MMM Azani’s design has only been shown via digital renders. These show a long wheelbase, low, mid-engined style supercar with a 2-seater layout. The bodywork features a combination of sharp cuts and smooth surfaces for the ultra-sporty but aerodynamic look. A set of thin LED lighting all around complement the futuristic look of the Azani.
Interior and features
There are no renders available for the interior of the Azani or any info on what features it will be fitted with, but expect the nearly Rs 90 lakh supercar to be look and feel as futuristic on the inside as it is on the outside.
The MMM Azani will be a two-seater supercar.
The Azani, if MMM is able to stick to its Rs 88 lakh to Rs 90 lakh price goal, will be one of its kind in the segment considering the performance on offer. Right now, the only other 2-seater car available in the price range is the BMW Z4, which does not match up the Azani – at least in terms of claimed performance figures.
