Regular maintenance was essential to keep the car in optimal condition, which could be a consideration for potential buyers. 5. For example, they are both low, sleek and achingly gorgeous supercars. And if this were a video review, that’s the point you’d hear a loud scratching noise; the sound of a stylus being dragged across vinyl indicating the sudden cut to reality. As this isn’t a video review, I’ll just say it straight: the XM may share the M1’s design feature of two roundels on its rear – at the top of the rear screen if you haven't spotted them – but low, sleek and achingly gorgeous it ain’t.Rating Parameters(Out of 5)4

The first thing that stands out is its commanding road presence. The bold design attracts attention everywhere, and the premium interior feels exceptionally luxurious with high-quality materials and advanced technology. On the highway, the XM delivers impressive performance. The power is available instantly, making overtaking effortless, while the ride remains stable and comfortable even at high speeds. Despite its size and weight, the handling is surprisingly sharp, and the adaptive suspension does a great job of balancing comfort and sportiness. One of the biggest surprises during my drive was the fuel efficiency. I achieved around 35 km/l on the highway, which is remarkable for a vehicle of this size and performance level. This makes long-distance touring far more economical than expected. The cabin is spacious, quiet, and packed with features, making every journey enjoyable. The sound system, ambient lighting, and comfortable seats further enhance the driving experience. Overall, the BMW XM combines luxury, performance, technology, and practicality in an impressive package.
