i am using it for 20 months/50000 kms. find evrything excelent except its weakness in hilly areas/ rough road. should have one version in 4x4 . no muv have match in this catagory for price/performance wise.

I shifted to innova from

I had driven 2008 toyota innova for 2 years and covered almost 38000 kms.The car is still impressive.

1) The EXTERIOR looks good if fitted with spoiler. The chrome finshed door handles are smooth to use. When all the seats are occupied the vehicle hits the ground in offroad.

2) The INTERIOR is most spacious and luxurious in all seats and the legroom is very efficient. The airconditioner is very effective in all rows. The interior is well finished with two tone colours.

3) The ENGINE is powerful to accelerate fastly to overtake. The STEERING handles very sensitively at sharp bends on hills. The vibration can be felt at only high speeds (i.e. above 130 kmph).

4) The BRAKES are excellent and the car doesn't skid while braking hardly (with ABS). The R15 tyres gives good road grip and is comfortable.

5) The negetive about the car is that the ground clearance and the fuel economy (city 10.5 and highway 15)

So it's a car for large family for long journeys compared to Scorpio, Tavera and xylo.

LUXURIOUS, SPACIOUS, BRAKES, PICKUP, HANDLING, AIRCONFUEL ECONOMY, GROUND CLEARANCE

I bought my Innova G4 2.5, 8 seater in September 2007 and just got the 30,000 km service done. Oops! thats a lot of driving in 15 months! Yes, we are very happy with our Innova and it is our go anywhere car! You travel for hours and still arrive fresh. A lot has been written about features, performance etc. I would like to inform you that overall I have not spent more than Rs.7000 on maintenance for 30000 KM. I am very pleased with this and I absolutely don't feel the pinch on my pocket. My family feels very comfortable and if someone else is driving and the car is full, I prefer the third row as it is also very comfortable. It is good to see that a new version of Innova has been released! Not to mention, it has been my driver's delight as well!

Reliable, Easy on maintenance, comfort, good family carHeadlight insuffcient

s outer look. But after 1.5 Lac kms I am sppechless about the perfomance of Innova. It will be very rediculous to compare Tavera with Innova. I have 4 Tavera (Taxi) under me for my staff and honestly speaking, Tavera stands nowhere.

Pros : Engile is very strong,  no A/C effect on pick up, smooth drive and grip on the road, superior quality stuff in interiors, very good control.

Cons : People who want macho look may not like it. I feel clutch is little bit tight in handling and needs some improvement.

Conclusion : I am 100% satisfied with Innova after 1.5 Lac run. No regrets and all praises.

good comfort, good performance, stylish.no - ve comments of this car.

Exterior Good looks and good paint quality.some panel seem to be flimsy but not troublesome.panel gaps are minimum.the rear is not very exciting but it not boring. i like the side view of the car. Toyota hav done a good job in designing this muv.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious. can seat 8 in comfort. The middle row can accomodate 4 if needed.best third row seats that I have seen.seats offer decent support and you dont feel tired or uncomfortable after 4 hours of drive. Innova lags in features, but have all the necessary ones that work perfectly. The a is very powerful.even with the blower only at the dash it manages to cool the huge cabin.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have gone for a petdiesel tuning box giving me an additional 20 hp.this certainly aids in acceleration under full load where the stock engine would need to be stressed a bit. I acieve a economy of avg 12 kmpl.the least 10.8 (full load and hard acceleration and high speed) the max being 14 (5 ppl on board light acceleration and speed of about 80 kmph.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is good .under full load 8 passengers plus luggage you have got to be more careful for speed breakers and poth holes. The ride improves as the nunber of passengers increase being its best when carrying 6 passengers. Handling is superb for an muv this large.

Final Words A very good all rounder.the size may seem to be large for city but once you get to know the car, its quite easy in the city. It goes through almost every road. Parking sensors are a must and is very very useful.

I have a 2005 model diesel and have installed a petes diesel tuning box and philips 35 w hid for the headlamp.

Areas of improvement More features(not the show off features)but features like tilt and telescopic dteering column, height adjustable driver seat and power outlet for the rear.

I understand that this is not the forum for Hyundai i10 review.  But there is one important message that i want to pass on to as many people as possible, so that they don't commit the same  mistake. I  recently booked an Hyundai  i10 Era from a DSA  i.e  a sub-dealer.  Large discount is what that attracted me to these theives.  I just somehow managed to get the delivery of my vehicle (though my payment was outright and the whole payment being made on the booking day itself).  I  had many sleepless nights from the day of booking till the day of delivery.  Believe me, if  God forbid, you get stuck with these guys,  there is really nobody who can help you in this case, NOT EVEN  HYUNDAI.  i really regret my decision of not booking my car at an authorised Hyundai Showroom.  My advice to all those who are reading this review is to learn from my mistake and to educate/ spread awareness about this issue amongst friends.  When we are spending so much amount, why can't we spend a little extra just to ensure that our hard-earned money is in safe hands.

TOYOTA HAS WORST CUSTOMER CARE

HARSHA TOYOTA KONDAPUR TARGETS & HARASSES ITS CUSTOMERS

 

HARSHA TOYOTA KONDAPUR targets its customers first by not providing written quotations and keeping everything verbal. After the purchase of vehicle they start playing with the customer by showing the things not included in the deal and bring the cash figure to their satisfaction. I purchase a Toyota Innova 2014 GX 8 seater on 27th Feb 14 and even after repeated reminders both written and verbal they are neither completing the permanent registration process nor providing me original documents to complete the process. WHY? Because I simply asked them to provide them the invoice details regarding the selected accessories as they had taken Rs 7000-8000 extra from me and I want them to compensate for it by providing TYVEK body cover and other 2 accessories. Added to it they were also charging Rs 2500 for permanent registration process when at RTA it is done in Rs 650.

5.     Instead of helping me out Harsha Toyota teams threatened of dire consequences

After delaying the permanent registration process for nearly 3 months now they don’t even want to pay for any fines/Penalties by RTA for delay in permanent Registration. They are not ready to acknowledge the in competencies of their team and want the customer to bear the consequences of their ineffectual transaction. Why should I?

 

Added to the dealers harassment is the Toyota company attitude, Toyota Kirlosker  India does not respond to customers grievances even after repeated emails and phone calls and Toyota Japan does not provide an email address and their phones answer only in Japanese. It seems Toyota is only interested in customers’ money and not their grievances

Exterior Aerodynamic design of the vehicle gives a good look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I believe Toyota engineers / designers always think ahead of all. Good quality interiors. Minute details taken care. Car gives you total comfort. I have driven this machine several times  for around 23 hours at a streatch, that too along with my family including two kids. Believe me, kids  always start playing as usual when they get off it upon reaching the destination. I think, No other cars in the segment/Class (Scorpio,Xylo, XUV500, Aria, Tavera) could give this level of comfort and experience. Kids get a lot of space to move within these 3 rows seating which keeps them untired all the time. Getting in and out of last row seats a bit discomfort for us.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is awsome. The sound of the engine is a bit louder which is a issue, but  absolutely not disturbing from inside when windows are closed. No issues observed witnessed by me with the gearbox during my 60,000 Kms of effortless and pleasant driving. I do get mileage of 12.90 on highways and 10.50 in cities with I think is quite reasonable for the machines having 2500 cc.

Ride Quality & Handling Not only other persons but also the driver feels comfortable on long runs. Great comfort in handelling this car even in city. Small and narrow roads always gives discomfort and stress to me when I drive through it. Great stability on road. Superb AC chilling capability.

Final Words As I said, No car in this segment gives me pleasure and comfort the way Toyota Innova gives. Even if you could afford one level higher bracket cars.. GO FOR INNOVA...you will never repent. Please do not get stuck up with it tag as  "Big Family Car" and limit yourself while finalizing to own one. Better to consider its comfort, safety and driving pleasure even if you have a small famaly.

Areas of improvement At times, realised that Captain seat could have been straightly designed for a sleep as well. Ground Clearance, Long Service time generally being taken by Toyota Service dealers, Making expensive accessories reasonable. Reverse spoiler should be made company fitted.
