Hi I had been using this car as my first car and I am satisfied with it's performance , style , and it's attitude as well , it is the best car for performance and style , it has the feel as the top end brand car , it's is the poor man's range Rover , your level will increase with this car truely , my best brand and more over a INDIAN car

When I bought this car from a used car market,body line and built quality was out standing.It had done 65k kilometers. The very next of the delivery clutch plate was gone. After a few months of usage it was consuming a lot of engine oil when I informed it to service center they charged 1.7laks for replacing turbo. After that the car is very good. But it is not built to last. Suspension is too soft. Engine will go under a huge problem after 60-50k kilometers on the odo.

If you want an Indian SUV with driving pleasure, comfort, performance and low maintenance, then definitely go for Safari Storme VX 400.As all reviews indicate, the looks of Tata Safari Storme are excellent as compared to its Dicor variant. The interior, especially the dashboard with Harman music system is simply superb. Middle seats are cosy and gives maximum thigh support and travel comfort. Driving position, with height adjustable seats is excellent. What I felt bad about this car, is the severe body roll. On a bumpy road, you actually feel like undergoing an off road venture. I had a Tata Safari Dicor 2012 model earlier, but the problem of body roll was nil as compared to the new Tata Safari Storme.

This is the real SUV for the Indian roads.No match in its class of Power at this price range. Diesel Engine Noise is even less then the fortuner.Although entering & exiting the car is not for the weak, power is to be felt on the road..The view from the Driver us like aerial..No tiredness in long drives.

Its my first choice and my bestest loving suv in indian car market..Its first impression and dynamic sturdy look just thrives away any of the suv..varicor 400 is just booom...power of 156ps mind blowing...The safari storme varicor had maintain the status of TATA MOTORS ..Ie of MR.RATAN JI TATA...NO COMPRAMISED INDIAN BUSSINESSMAN..

Exterior

Awesome looks, awesome road presence, awesome commanding view from diver's seat. Huge size makes it look like an elephant. Really bold look. Yes, the designing may look outdated but it makes it a old school SUV

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Very nice interior this time. Jett black interior with silver accents looks premium. High quality plastic is used. Very spacious and airy. Leather seats are absent. But the fabric seats also do a good job. Very comfortable ride. Harman audio system sounds great

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

This new safari has the best performance among all the Safari. No more turbo lag. Acceleration is fast than before. Fuel economy is not bad considering huge size of this SUV. Gearbox is also good but not as good as in Innova, XUV

 

Ride Quality & Handling

Superb ride quality, it is more comfortable than fortuner or scorpio. I have purchased VX 4x2 1 week ago. Till now everything is perfect

Its a great car with great offroading abilities..the ride is good gives 14kmpl ..i have driven mine storme 92k kms haven't got any problem engine wise but there are some issues likely ...(1)windows got stuck in between (2) keyless entry doesn't work (3) horns misses sometimes (4) it needs alignment after 10k kms (5) interior is old school
