      Exterior Exterior gives road presence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior not having gps n all but dat doesn't mater as I purchased garmin navigation for that. Very spacious and high position sits feel like sittings on elephant. This feel not get in any kind of SUV in this world. Safari storme is very tall Suv.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very responsible n powerful with good economy. Gears are very smooth to shift.

Ride Quality & Handling Very first class ride. If not apply breaks on speed breaker den also  not feel any jerk inside at any speed. Very exlent grip on road.

Final Words Very great Suv and specious.

Areas of improvement For improvement I think Tata raise the price by few lakhs but it should include more luxurious features like electronic sit adjustments, Sunroof, automatic transmission version, Hid headlights, etc.

Very specious and comfortable suv.very high position sitting feel like you are sitting on elephant,Some times Big size can irritate in bumber to bumber traffic

I have been a TATA user for a quite long time. Earlier I had TATA indigo which Unfortunately met with an Road Accident. ( The car toppled off the Highway at the speed of approx 140 on NH 26 ) But there was no injur to self or the co passangers. That day only I dedcided to go again for a TATA veh. I own my SAFARI STROME EX for abot 3 years. True to my expectation the TATA has not let me down.

Exterior Good, Gives a great look (obviously differnt people have different perciption)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Better than previous safari. Space is adequate and quite comfortable. AC keeps you cool even under extensive hot climate of north India. The more you invest on interiors better they are

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox, Engine is good no problem with gearbox and have got fuel economy of as low as 10 KMPL in busy traffic of Delhi to as High as 15 KMPL on the Highways.

Ride Quality & Handling The driver seat give you good command on the road. The performance and pick up of engine is awesome. quite usefull veh for long drives.

Final Words Its a good veh if you enjoy long drives. Value for your money. Regarding the service I have realise its how and want kind of relations you have with the service team. Foutunately I have always met good persons at TATA service station and till date have not faced any problem in the veh. I have extracted more than what there is in the service brochure and service team is quite cooprative.

Finally it was my choice yo go for EX otherwise more you pay more are the features.

Areas of improvement  Cruise control may be added which will make long drives much more comfortable.

Exterior Looks good still needs updates like day time running lights which are now available in xuv 500 and scorpio. The car that has starting price over 10 lakhs must have alloy wheels and rear wiper as standard.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Totally featureless car, no climate control, no touch screen, no steering mounted control, parking sensors and airbags are available only in higher models.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Satisfactory, fuel economy is the area where TATA should improve a little bit to have an edge over the competitors.

Ride Quality & Handling Good, feels very fine engine, less body roll than before

Final Words Just needs some features and this car will rule the segment. The other SUV's in this segment are feature laden.

Areas of improvement TATA must add atleast basic features and should hire better designers.(the laddakh version of safari just looks dumb, resembles Xylo. It is also clear from all the Tata cars that designers are very poor in their work).

Exterior Looks very nice and stylish but due to high ground clearance people say it looks a bit unstable.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Tata has worked a lot on interior quality but they have lots more to improve. I like the soft armrests and the plastic touches feels nice but they sound too hollow and I canactually see the molding lines on the woodgrains. Also the gearknob and the power button of our car started peeling off.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I really don't know well as i use a driver but I am pretty impressed about the performance this car shows. The gearbox can be shit or heaven depending on the driver's skill. I find it very smooth so people who has gearbox problems and complain about it just needs to admit they drive horribly.(shifting gears at low rpms, using high gears in traffic ,accelerating and braking like a maniac)fuel economy is not so poor considering it has a tiny engine in a huge car. (It's like playing tennis with a basketball or a badminton raket).

Ride Quality & Handling I used to ride an elantra and a hundai agera(grandeur)back in korea. I don't know which one but either the poor indian roads or the marshmellow soft spring makes me carsick. It smoothens most of the bumps but after the process the car rolls a bit. As the storme was the most comfortable suvs I've ever rode,I guess im a bit sensitive.

Final Words I like my car a lot. The giant size and the sturdyness you get once your inside the car makes you feel proud of your car.It has lots of advantages compared to competitive suvs (Ex disk breaks, poeerfull ac,great ride quality) This is a decision you won't regret.

Areas of improvement Better engine. As i wrote, playing tennis with a basketball with badminton rackets. The basketball is the car  and the badminton racket is the engine.

Huge space and seating positionInterior quality, performence/fuel economy

Exterior As I said look good from far but When we com close and have a good look All doors are made with non adjustable gaps through dust from out side dust is fully inside the car.

Head lights look good but at night Lighting is not upto the mark.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The dashboard is so good we can enjoy the plastic sound from the 1st day onwords usually normal car get that sound after 4 years.

Mid row seats are only for decoration no one can sit in them for a long drive.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox VARICOR Engine. Can't undersatand the difference between dicor. More over we can hear sound from gear box when ever we accelerate from 20-70kmph and if we apply brakes suddenly on 70kmph. the manufacture cant explain why is this sound is coming and They even dont know where it coming from.

Breaking ABS I think is not perfect ,I am not sure, I felt that when ony left tyre was in air and my right on is on ground i heard some things droped out of my car and the breakes were not applied I observed twice.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good but handling is not so good we feel the tyres are been lifted in the corners with a speed of 70kmph.

Final Words Don't fall for GOAT thinking of BEAST.

      Areas of improvement NA.

Only looks good from far when it comes to drive NOThe Whole car so called beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exterior Land rover influence is visible and I like it. No flashy or fancy design. A simple yet tough and muscular appearance.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are not extravagant but no point in having too many electrical gizmos which are hardly usable in Indian conditions for example cruise control. Space and comfort is a notch above for this segment and full marks to the storme for that. The ride quality is very good and the storme can take most bad roads in its stride. Some interior fittings are quite flimsy. The driver side seat inclination lever's plastic handle went loose in 2 weeks. There are a few sqeaks and rattles developing so soon.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine power is adequate and performance is now as good as the scorpio I believe. There is a bit of lack of low end torque from 3rd gear onwards but otherwise it performs quite well. The gearbox is much improved and smoother than before I think. Fuel economy is at par for the segment and I am getting around 12kpl as of now. Should improve after the first few servicings.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is ok and since its a tall car some amount of body roll is there but it doesnt make the occupants nauseous as it does in a scorpio. High speed stability is quite good.

Final Words Safari storme is a sensible, tough yet get gentle beast which can take you to places not thinkable in most other cars!

Areas of improvement interior fittings should be tighter, reverse camera is a must, sound quality of music system needs improvement. ECU of 4wd system I think is not water proofed which is not practical.

Sober yet tough looks, space, comfort, road presence, go anywhere ability, great cruising abilityProne to sqeaks and rattles, bluetooth cant play music, no parking camera

      Exterior

Huge vehicle. Commanding driving position. Very good paint quality. Panel gaps are huge. Poor but quality.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

This is a rs.12 lakh plus vehicle. No music system, no infotainment, no 2 din can be fixed. Bare dash board. No features.

Space: Loads of space for 5 pealed.  Jump seats are really useless. Rattling sound will is really killing the driving pleasure

Comfort: Safari is the king in ride comfort. Powerful ac

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Very good performance after 1500 rpm. There is initial turbo lag but not bothering it much. Fuel efficiency is 10.5 in city and 13 in highways with AC.

      Ride Quality & Handling

Very good ride quality.  Don't worry about small potholes and humps. Disk drakes on all 4 weels and abs gives confidence. Low turning radio us is really helpful in city driving.  Body roles at corners at high speed.

      Final Words

Very good highway cruiser. Very good ride comfort. Lack of features. Poor after sale service.  I am really feeling the heat of bad and irresponsible nature if tty and their dealer. When you have a problem like accident/ damages then getting parts at right time is a very difficult task. Regular free service also steal your one day. Overall: don't buy it if you are not a diehard safari fan. I really regret my decision to buy this product simply due to poor built quality and very bad attitude of Tata Motors and their dealers

      Areas of improvement

Road presence, ride comfort, loads of spacearrogant dealers, poor after sale service, poor resale value, brand image, practically a 5 seater.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and comfortable would be an understatement.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine response is great, fuel economy is ok for a vehicle of this size.  Gearbox could be refined further, as the shifting is jerky at times.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality suffers due to high level of cabin noise. Just used the vehicle on the Yamuna Expressway. The cabin sound gave all the occupants a headache after just one hour on the expressway. Tatas should do something about this, since it adds to the fatigue. Nothing of this sort happened in an Innova.

      Final Words Value for money.

Areas of improvement Decrease in cabin noise, since it inhibits the usage of this vehicle for long journeys, which is actually what the Safari is meant for.

Macho styling, appropriate tyres, comfortable on all kinds of roadsSound insulation.

Exterior Looks big and sturdy..however after 14 months of purchase, i could notice rusting on the interiors of rear door.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space good, but look and finish is poor

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Extremely dull, every other vehicle will overtake you on road. fuel performance is 8-10 kmpl..i believe all SUVs have better figures....gerabox is nodgy...the engine seems to be of mini truch..too heavy and has that diesel truch experience...feels unstyable if ever it hits >100 kmpl.

Ride Quality & Handling It drives so slow and sluggish...hardly there is any experience for quality. However, due to the engine sound and the lackluster oerformance, lost interest in travelling by this vehicle

Final Words Do not go for it. Wasted my money and energytrying this out.

Areas of improvement Everything. Its not a truck. Please undestand what SUV means.

pricing is good, however service really is bad..its impossible to get a SUV treatment when the dealers have been servicing indica taxis for their livelihood.

Exterio and styling till its factory freshFinish, poor engine and asbolute absmyal service from Tata

Exterior Nice and it feels more bulky than before.Nice finishing of body, dual exhaust, use of chrome, etc

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Updated in beige and wood inserts but outdated in features(shuold learn from XUV 5oo).No climate control for this cost.very neat and very simple looking dash board feels more outdated when compared with its competitors in the market.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Step ahead from previous with very low NVH level from the point you crank the engine.Even now tata has never worked on the isolation of wind noise in tripple digit speeds it seems irritating to the front passengers a lot.

Ride Quality & Handling Thanks to the tech of ARIA which in turn gives better ride and handling.Off roading capacity is mainly noticed in the storme,it does things which previous safari never ever done look at oncar india review for its off roading capability.

Final Words Previous tata safari owners will not be happy with the new one but a new buyer will be satisfied.

Areas of improvement Nice SUV but Tata should do somethin in the following aspects,

      1.Futuristic exterior design

2.Add some feature for this cost.

3.Dampness from engine to the cabin must be increased.
