Exterior The look of the Superb is very rich and regal. Skoda has done a fantastic job in making this car stand out from the others, especially after the older Superb, which looked a lot like the Octavia.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is no other car in the market in the same price bracket which has Interiors like the Superb. It has features of the E class in a car which is priced much lesser than the C class. Nappa leather, Bolero sound system with 12 speakers, front and rear parking assist, Electronic seats ( both driver and passsenger ).. Overall it is an absolute treat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Superb, as we all know now has the Passat engine. The turbo charged engine has got a wonderful zip and feel to it. While in sports mode, one is amazed by the power that is unleashed from under the bonnet. My Superb gives me a city mileage of almost 10 which is fantastic for a big sedan.

Ride Quality & Handling You are truly in the lap of luxury once you are in a Superb.. It makes you feel happy.. Happy that you bought it.

Final Words I had booked a BMW 3 series and I chose the Superb over it. That sums up all, I guess.The Superb is SUPERB !!!

Most unsatisfactory vehicle. I purchased Skoda Superb Petrol form Jaipur on. It came with a battery discharge problem which was identified in the very first week itself. After getting initial support from the dealer for trying to repair it and putting his most competent engineer available in India on work, the dealer too gave up declaring that this is un-repairable in India. Now the Skoda people have advised me to switch on the battery every alternate day to re-charge, even if I am not going to use it. Entire blame can not be put on local dealer as they are delivering their capacity support which is available with them. Initially they were attending our phone calls but now senior person always remain in meeting during my calls. Now it either rests in my garage or in the dealers'; forget enjoying its drive on road.

Would never recommend to buy this vehicle from Skoda. Purchase this vehicle only if you are sure you would drive it every day to keep it recharged. I can not count on my Superb now as I am no way sure when I am going to get next ride.  Now I realized after-sales-service is more important than the initial look of vehicle, which has come as a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT from SKODA. Areas of improvement Electronic system is not repairable in India and should sale such vehicle if skoda is abale to maintain technical required support.

 Packed with lot of features but lacks some basic things like navigation and blue tooth functionality

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The DSG gearbox has a near 100% failure rate. Almost all owners have had to replace it. Same is the issue with the Multi Clutch. High cost replacements... Car scores poor on reliability. Engine is good but overall parts failure rate especially related to gearbox and transmission is excessive. A car which seems good value for money but turns out to be most exepensive to own and maintain.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Ride quality is good but handling is just about average. The suspension have been kept too stiff for Indian roads.

Final Words

 Don't buy this car unless the company makes significant improvements in the quality of parts especially gearbox and transmission.

Areas of improvement  

 Nearly everything. Improve reliability of the car. Reduce the number of trips needed to the service station and improve dealerships.

Skoda Superb is more than my expectation.

Superb is just wow, because so many features in so less price, Superb will cost more if it was made by BMW , Mercedes Benz etc.so it's compareless. No other companies will sail this kind of features in a car for such a less price.

I am happy with wat Superb has.

I'll definately tell every one I know about Superb. I'll make sure that they buy Superb rather than buying any other car /cars.

The bad point about this car is that, all the features are same in all the three models. I want to buy the top model but because the same features, I am confused.

Exterior Good and sober lines running through rear to front. Paint quality is not that outstanding.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very rich and tastefully done interiors. One falls in instant love with cabin lighting schemes and quality of leather and plastic. Outstanding is the word. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Could have been a higher BHP engine than Laura, though refinement level felt is quite good. Engine feels peppy. Initial acceleration feels lesser than Laura, lacks jet take-off feeling.

Ride Quality & Handling A bit stiff ride quality, but ok given our road conditions. Handling is Superb. One can drive this huge car in city traffic very easily.

Final Words Puchased as new recently. Liked by children as well as elders. Good overall car, feel secure inside. Good interior with class higher features. Ground clearance is also good; does not scrap on our speed breakers. Solid steady on higher speeds, as well as in city traffic. Front and rear parking sensors are a boon. Go for it without any second thoughts.

Areas of improvement Still figuring out how to open the hood!! Manual is not of much help. Boot and fuel lid levers could have been provided for greater sense of control, though it might just be the matter of getting used to. Light indicators are on left side, cause initial minor hiccups. Engine sound in the cabin is more than Laura, something hard to digest!!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

It gives me great confidence to pull ahead of other cars on the road. 1.8 TSI petrol engine is very responsive and extremely quiet. My manual gearbox is a pleasure to operate. I understand the DSG automatic gearbox in AT models is suffering a lot of failures at the hands of Indian drivers and I tend to pin the blame mainly on the recklessness of either the owner-drivers or their professional drivers. It is really unreasonable to pin the blame on Skoda engineers or the dealer or even the service centre personnel. People have got to be honest in admitting their incompetence or that of their drivers. I fully support Skoda the company's position in handling all these frivolous complaints. If you want only your driver to handle your car, you should keep things simple and buy a manual transmission. Take all the complexities of DSG away and I bet your driver won't even know how to damage your car even if he wants to!!

Areas of improvement  

I can't think of anything serious. There may be some intermittent electrical malfunctions because there is so much technology built in this mean machine. I have noticed that the fuel gauge suddenly shows empty from half-full position when I am operating headlamps, wipers, AC and radio. Again, this doesn't happen everytime! I am stumped as to why it happens, but it is not such a major issue that I want to leave my car at the dealer for an extended period of time. I can live with the quirk. Nothing else is wrong with my used 2010 Skoda Superb 1.8 TSI MT.

Exterior Exterior not as rich and attractive as it should have been, front and side view is good but that is a bit undone with the rear vide.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is  fantabolous very spacious and comfortable but no bottel holder.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine response is good fuel economy is ok but gear box at times gives trouble as at times its not smooth shifting gears and take a bit more effort that manual shifting.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling wise its very easy ride is comfortable, stearing is very very good.

Final Words Car is very good at the price offered but after sales is the worst worst and worst.  MARIKAR AUTO (CALICUT-KERALA) didnt keept there promises of servicing. they just want to sell of the cars least concerned about after sales and for that reason am willing to sell of the car that is hardly 4 months 7000 km old.

Areas of improvement After sales please, i was offered only one free servicing and that too was done without care and some damages that happened even before first free servicing were not rectified fullly eventhough charged heavenly.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors good. AC needs improvement in peak summer.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Car has zero reliability. No reliability of Gearbox. Superb has design defect in Mecatronic which fails repeatedly, most Superb owners have faced this and company has no answer for the same. The vehicle fails without warning, so you cannot take this on high ways or drive at night. After failure the vehicle can be moved in flat bed cranes which are availble in bigger cities, so may have to wait for hours, then cost of towing is high besides repair takes 15-25 days as the parts are imported for car with specifc VIN number.

Ride Quality & Handling Good till it runs but risk is high of failure so avoid.

Final Words Non Reliable, design defect in gearbox and Mecatronic. Buy only if you have money to waste.

Areas of improvement Better relaibility and free crane pick up service for failuer.
