- The updated Nexon with cruise control is likely to be launched soon
- The model could also be launched with the BS-VI engine
Tata Motors is working on a few updates for the compact SUV, Nexon. The company is readying a BS-VI compliant engine and according to new spy images, the cruise control module is also being tested.
Two uncamouflaged test mules of the Nexon were spotted, among which one unit features the cruise control buttons on the right-side spoke of the steering wheel. Save for the addition of cruise control, there are no visible changes to the Nexon units seen here.
Currently, the Tata Nexon is available with two engine options, including a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol motor and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. These engines are available with either a six-speed manual transmission or an AMT gearbox. The Nexon is priced at Rs 6.62 lakhs for the base XE trim and goes all the way up to Rs 11.01 lakhs for the top-end XZA Plus AMT dual tone trim.
