Mahindra Bolero Tops The Customer Satisfaction Charts SUV / MPV Category

The Mahindra Bolero has been ranked the highest in total customer satisfaction in the SUV / MPV category in the 2009 four-wheeler Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) study conducted by TNS Automotive, the specialist division of TNS Global. The Mahindra Bolero has been graded against brands like the Toyota Innova, the Chevrolet Tavera, the Tata Sumo and the Tata Safari. The Bolero has achieved a TRIM Index score of 96, as against the automotive industry average of 91. This study is based on a survey undertaken among more than 8100 owners of major car models sold in the country and covers over 54 models. Criteria for the award included sales satisfaction, product quality, vehicle performance and design, after sales service, brand image and cost-of ownership. The TCS index score provides a measure of satisfaction and loyalty that a given model enjoys with its customers. The Bolero has evolved significantly since its launch in 2001. In 2007, M&M launched a new Bolero. In September 2008, Mahindra introduced the Bolero VLX powered by CRDe technology. October 2008 saw the launch of the Bolero SLX with Micro-Hybrid technology.
