Exterior Very good but  Feel tyres are liitle smaller for such a big vehicle

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good very spacious Back AC DUCT Would have been very useful.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy around 10 kms per litre in city drive the first 500 kms Was assured by Sales that it will be around 12 kms after first service but still far below the expected 14 kms per litre( 17.2 ardi).

Ride Quality & Handling Jumpy ride in ordinary road Shifting gears are very tough

Final Words Needs to be tried for few more kms before finally commenting but mileage is  very poor and have a problem with the remote key was told to take the vehicle to MPL garage at Saligram

Areas of improvement While driving on ordinary roads the ride is very shaky and jumpy Mirrors could have been fixed liittle higher and the lenght  shorter Back Vent for AC would defenitely would have helped The remote key is already NOT WORKING WITHIN A WEEK OF PURCHASE

SALES TEAM AT MPL NEEDS TO IMPROVE KEEPING UP COMMITTMENTS.

Spacious and confortable interiorMileage is just around10 kms per litre in city drive Gives a very shaky jumpy ride in ordinary road

Look and Style: Nicely done but Indian Mean mentality in cheap quality is observed every where...The floor mats were pinned...The mats are coming out...The front AC sponge safety gum got removed within 15 days and oozing out of the grill.....The plastic quality has to be improved....the cover for front head light out of the position.... Comfort: The front driving seat is commanding and excelllently designed for driving comfort...The cushions might have been better.... Pickup: I could find lag in second & third gear at 1500 RPM but after that it jumps and ready to boost and all the vehicles on road can be seen in rear view mirror.... Mileage: Hope am only the First Woman to attain 21.6 KM in city driving and 19.8 with AC in city (According to DDAS system installed in the vehicle).... at present am driving in city only need to check highway mileage....but am very much happy with mileage....have driven 770KMS till date.... Best Features: Price of the vehicle to that of Sedan....all features at reasonably priced vehicle like DDAS, 3 pin charger points, power windows. music system Needs to improve: Middle row seat is worst for comfort...free backache & medical check-ups at regular interval, quality & finish need to improve, Overall Experience: Experience with the vechile is Good and am feeling like it has brain and heart to understand that hard earned money spent by me should be valued compared to the Mahindra management.....worst sales...worst management without ethics...only money oriented (especially Hyderabad Division VVC Motors)...rude and arrogant Managers.....till date nobody contacted me from Dealer and Mahindra Division as stated at the time of delivery ...seems they want money and delivery of vehicle not human beings...great keep it up ...life is a vicious cirlce....TODAY with the need of people demand for vehicle you may be flying in colors but tommorow downfall may come they you will repent.....I am in shock how ISO standards maintained company has sanctioned dealerships to these type of people and worried about after sales serviceValue for Money, fuel economy, featuresRear Seat worst, cheap plastics and finish not taken care

After following up with many showrooms, I finally enterd Mahindra. Actually this was my last choice.  I got this car in 2015 Dec sale. flat discount of 2 lakhs on the car as it is 2014 model.

Exterior : Very good. Weel base should have increesed

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : Space is good. need to improve some comforts

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox : Fine for the family. fuel economy is avarage. not so good and not so bad

Ride Quality & Handling : Best for ride. It's much easy to drive than a small car.

      Very good road clearence.

Final Words : Perfect value for money. Best car for family and weekend tours.

Areas of improvement  : rear AC, Engine, comfort

Best 7 seate for the price. family car for short distence tours with an avarage mlage.

I am a satisfied customer of Quanto. if you are looking for a Value for money car, This is the right choice.

Exterior I found the exterior of the car very nice. Looks are better than scorpio and are comparable with safari. Look like a SUV and is much better shaped than Ertiga. One can drive in to his MNC office in this vehicle which is not possible with some of the other Mahindra vehicle like Bolero or Thar.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 1st row is functional and interior are ok. Second seat is like a govt bus seat. You can't adjust it. It is not comfortable at all to sit on this seat. Since there are two seats at the back( 3rd) , one can not recline it. So all in all it is not targeted at the customers who want to buy a sedan but some times do offroading or travel out side metros. It works for the people who drive on bad roads and use second and third row occasionaly. If the target group is new couple who travel around the cities on weekend then it should have the third row seat optional and second one should be adjustable.

This vehicle is likely to be seen a lot on the road but only as Taxi which can fit seven people and travellers will bear the journey because the taxi charge will be 20 % less than Innova. After all one can bear one day ordeal once in a while. Mahindra is not just able to come out of its Taxi Mode.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As expected. Reasonably powered though not great. Fuel economy is 2-3 KM less than expected for this size of vehicle.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is comparable with Xylo which can be rated as Average to Good.

Final Words I waited for this vehicle for one year and wanted to buy it along with my existing Sedan to do off roading and traveling to my farmhouse once in a month. But who will agree to sit in second and third row ?

Areas of improvement Make third row optional. Make second row adjustable and make second seat as comfortable as Verito. Fire the product manager  who designed an adverisement campain for an aspiring young couple but offered a product suitable to be used as a taxi. Align your thoughts please.

Great exterior, SUV Design, Space, Stylish and FressMiddle Seat , 7 Seater Jugaad

      Exterior

Its not a stunner but you will fall in love with it over time, looks better than a xylo and looks more like a conventional SUV as compared to the Ford Ecosport, Renault Duster.

The bottom line is it looks Strong, Robust and ready for Abuse.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Massively Spacious, very comfortable front seats, mid row seats are a bit upright but good under-thigh support (my model does not have folding seats which is an impedement), last row is okay for short trips and perfect for kids, minar clanky noises as seen in almost all mahindra Suvs, well equipped and the music system from Nippon does a good job, the dash could have been made jazzier with new styling and better use of plastics (not the worst, there are whole lot of worse plasticy dash sold in India on the pretext of cost cutting), loads of convenience features (3 charge point, plenty of cup and bottle holders, under seat drawer) and i absulutely love the aeroplane like food trays.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Its a downsized mHawk which is a proven machine, fairly powerful and pulls well and the dual stage turbo is brilliant, the clutch is however a little heavy but i guess it comes with M&M territory and so does the rubbery gear shift (and again its not the worst,ie, ever driven a SUMO??), however, saying so the gear throw is quite good and works well at higher revs. But, the gear and engine needs taming (higher gear lower revs, and the car will want to throw you out with all the knocking, drive the Amaze 1.5 I-DTEC, you'll understand what i mean). Finally fuel efficiency, I participated in a rally when the car was about 3 months old and i gt a mileage of 20Kmpl, that aside i live in a congested city like Calcutta and traffic is a right nuisance so 11 kmpl inside the city highways again i have managed between 17 - 20 kmpl.

      Ride Quality & Handling

It needs taming, its like a dog that listens to its master only. Ride quality is good but hard at times but thats granted because it's on the INGENIO platform (hard suspension), glides over potholes and bumps and speed breakers, dampers do make a thudding noise initially but settles down as the suspension settles down and the car gets slightly older. Its a pretty comfortable ride.

As for handling well it can scare a new driver, the steering is not the most responsive in the world. Now, I have heard people complaint about body roll...really? Have such people driven ladder on frame chasis SUVs before?? Scorpio, Bolero, Sumo, Safari, Pajero, LandCruiser, they all have body roll. Such cars never handle corners well at high speeds, so don't complaint just be a better driver ;)

The wheels should have been 16 inches but then again its built on the Ingenio platform and the XYLO runs on 215/75 R15 tyres while Quanto runs on 205/65 R15.

      Final Words

Honest car - definitely value for money, definitely an SUV, can do stuff a hatchback can only dream of so branding it as a hatchback is probably being a little harsh on Mahindra.

The looks tend to grow on you with time

      Areas of improvement

Last row seats, now they have the yoga seats so thats all good, better dash, could provid decent fog lamps (its really run of the mill quality), rear roof blowers, airbags should be made compulsory for all models.

Ample space, Fairly powerful engine - pulls well, excellent suspension, well equipped for its priceGawky, cramped 3rd row seats and non folding middle seats, heavy clutch, rubbery gear shift

Exterior Stylish from back side. Completely thought through product, to say, door lamps, foot step to get inside vehicle, Great ground clearence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Too many features for the price compared to any other manufacturers. ABS, Adjustable steering & Driver seat, Micro hibrid features, food trays at the back, plenty of bottle holders, Hand rest for front seats....OMG, who will give these many features for 8.3L on road. Plastic seems to be not the best, but i believe, better than any maruti interior. i had a wagonr earlier.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I drove my quanto for 8500 KMs in last 7 months, 65% on highways, 35% on city roads and 95% of the time with AC ON. Mileage is around 14 KMPL. Though i have not measured completely on highways, i believe, it gives a minimum of 17 KMPLs on highways. All these numbers are when i drove the car on complete AC.

Long drives are really amazing. Great smoothness and no noise inside. I drove 650 KM in a stretch with 2 breaks and i didnt get too much tired. Gear box appeared tight initially for 1 month but i feel it is safe, especially due to the teeths Mahindra had deployed to avoid gear slippages.

Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable in driving.

Final Words Best Comfort, loads of features, safety with ABS, GREAT Mileage, all in LOW Cost. It always surprised me, when people buy i20 or Figo for >7.5 L, when they have quanto ready for 8L.

Areas of improvement I am not too greedy to expect any thing beyond this for the price I paid.

Nice driving experience, Good fuel economy, bundles of features at low costMinor observations, but for the cost i pay i cant comment on this.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Vibrates a lot.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear shifting is hard, too much engine noise, fuel economy is around 15 KMPL.

Ride Quality & Handling Average, worst.

Final Words My suggestion, never buy this vehicle!!! it is only good for those who want a big box. After sales service is like cherry on the cake, my experience with 2 centre Gurgaon and Delhi only end with more disappointment.

In last 1 year, my vehicle has gone to service centre at least 10 times, minus 3 services.....per me i have a sub-standard product.

Areas of improvement Built quality, interior, engine vibration, gear shifting, fit & finish, most importantly improve customer service and after sales service, after a point customer service stop responding to your emails, add to your frustration and make it a clear case of mental harassment.

Only SizeEverything Else, including after sales service

The Mahindra Quanto can do everything that a hatchback can only dream of. And more. The Quanto leaves you in no doubts about its machismo or its SUV lineage. You'll see it in the front fascia, you'll feel it in its distinct alloy wheels and you will notice it even in the stepney at the back.

Having the three pot motors' traditional imbalance in mind, I actually prepared myself for a thrummy startup but the Quanto didn't make much of a noise and at idling, felt like a normal four cylinder engine. It was when easing off the clutch that a gruff voice emanated under the hood and the NVH package did very little to keep the occupants away from it.

The noise only grew louder with every centimeter of the throttle travel and one is forced to shift to second gear as soon as possible. The Quanto's diesel heart  gets quieter progressively as you move up the cogs and gets unobtrusive only while cruising under 3,000 rpm.

Good fuel economy, less priceexterior could had been better

Exterior The paint job is bubbling from a few places.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Inside is very comfortable and enough room for my kids and me to travel long distances comfortably. The snack trays are very kids friendly. The back seats are comfortable like in a Xylo. Terrible in the summers as no back AC vents.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Before 3 yrs were up, my Clutch assembly and Alternator had to be changed as both suddenly died. Today, its 3 months from being 5 years old, and the whole engine has shut. There has been water leakage into the head from the Radiator for a few years now so the head has been eaten away at places and the whole engine jammed. The clutch has been found to be completely worn with rings on the plate, and the self armature completely burnt out. Mileage is definitely not 17kms/L as was promised, so that is a lie.

How would anyone want me to review such a car???

Koncept would have sent me a bill that would be about the price of the car. I was actually planning to exchange the car at 5 years for a Scorpio, but I dont want to put money on another Mahindra car, given that the after sales service even at Koncept is really poor. The car is worth junk value to me now.

Ride Quality & Handling As long as it works it was ok. It had too little power on inclines, now I think its probably because of the water seeping into the head.

Final Words Dont buy a Quanto. its all screwed up, and no matter how they change the body into a TUV or NuvoSport, the engine remains really bad!

Areas of improvement The entire engine!!! If the soul is not good, no body can impress for life.

Space, snack tables, sunglass holder, comfortable seatingReally bad engine, bad paint job, extremely poor after sales servic
