Overall is great. But the reputation matters!! Yes, Reputation. When I bought this Car (Tata Indigo LX DiCoR 1.4) on 23rd of December, 2007 my collegues asked me the reason behind the purchase of this 'TAXI'. But, I replied nothing and just gave him the keys. After riding it, he enquired wheather this car was imported from some other country. "The best Disel Car ever rode by me", was his polite reply. The next day, he went to Maruti Suzuki Showroom to cancel his booking for Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire VDi 1.3 as it shook his pocket very well...Today, after driving this car from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from the Kuchhs to the hills of Arunanchal Pradesh, this car never let me down to regret about my decision. This car has been now 8 years old, approximately 1,90,000 kms driven by myself because this car can't be left over to any driver just because the driver will enjoy to drive this car...  :p   I wish Tata Motors India Pvt. Ltd. to re-open the production lines for Tata Indigo LS DiCoR, Indigo LX DiCoR, Indigo SX DiCoR and Indigo XL DiCoR. I baught a Tata Indigo LS TDI second hand (2007 Model) vehicle last year, I have been driving this car for the past 6 months now; And I am really bored of driving this one, This has no power at all. In the beginning i was thinking that I may feel like that as I was driving a petrol car till then. Later on only I had realized, I am mad enough buying this car. Every morning, when I start my car I feel like starting a TATA LORRY (sound badly for atleast 5-6 KM). Now I am planning to sell out this one and to find a real car soon. Exterior POOR. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) NOT BAD. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very Very poor pick-up, very high engine noise on first start of the day. Not a bad fuel economy. Exterior is good   Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) average   Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox es gine is noisy but pick was g8 nd fuel capacity should be more and gear box is normal Ride Quaity & Handling owesome and handling good and dis car is good for city and for those who have more lagguage   Final Words dis car is overall good average ac working g8 in in city and dis is car is one of the economy car in diesel with g8 pickup and ac cooling is superb and milage olso good in ac about 14 km/l on ac so over all dis car can be purchase   Areas of improvement  engine is noisyv  and more thng is dat tata car ki fan  belt offfo hamesha awaz karti rehti h each and every tata car jaise paidaishi bimari ho but only for 1 min  and interior should be more improve    pick up is g8 and a.c working good in city milage is owesomeengine sound is not good as compare to swift

  I have been driving Tata Indigo LX TDI for over 5 years now. Its a rugged vehicle and has never let me down till date. It has clocked 50k KM and gives me an average of 14.5K in city with AC and going upto 17K on highway Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space is very comfortable and keep you seated higher up than most of the Korean and Japanees cars, LX version has got all the basic features that are necessary like Rear defoggers, fog lampls, power windows. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine of the car is very rugged and holds good for years to come is properly serviced as per the service schedule. Its a good highway cruiser and very managable in city driving too. Ride Quality & Handling The ride of the car can be made better by going into 195/75 spec tyres and even the handling of the car is good with the stock tyres. Final Words Its the only diesel car in that price bracked and for this price its a steal. What else can you expect for 6 lac's a MERC!!! Ours is a diesel driven country and kudos for TATA for getting such a sedan for us to drive. Areas of improvement Needs better interior fit and finish as well as some exterior parts.Good fuel economy,good handling,good spacePlastics not upto the mark,interior fit and finish not acceptable
