Most Helpful Review | Hardy ,robust,Stunning ,made in India and made for india Compact SUV Showroom people are friendly, paperwork is done flawlessly......drives smooth, no lag, little bit slow at around 1500rpm then initial pickup, driving modes helpful and work smoothly, looks are head Turner, performance is good at high speeds though and efficiency is nice at this price point for 1.5litre diesel engine..1st servicing cost around 3400rs in which normal checkup and oil change are done, wash, cleaning and coating is done too, labour cost is free. pros - ticks every box correctly and fulfil the wishes of all type of buyers who are looking for good performance, looks rather in a good price bracket. cons - can't compete Mahindra xuv300 in terms of performance. | Bad choice for that much money ! Probably the most imperfect car ever. Nobody checked it before it was passed for sale. Within 6 months the driver side window glass stopped working, doors have not been fitted and aligned properly. At high speeds, you hear loud air noise as if one of the windows is open. Sunroof works only 50% of the time. Headlamps are probably worst in the industry, totally useless. What adds to your frustration is, TATA service centers and employees are not equipped to solve any of these problems. All they have to say is, "Sir this is a manufacturing defect, what can we do?". There is no symmetry on the inside or outside body of the car, you might find a door, a plastic piece, outer linings few inches down/up if you compare both sides. I assure you, more often than not, you will find yourself regretting for not going with a car from more seasoned carmakers like Ford/Kia/Hyundai. That 5 star safety rating would be meaningless once you get to know the number of issues in your car. There are a few pros too, its powerful, spacious, high ground clearance, but all and all, you expect much better when you are paying 10 Lakh rupees. I have used Ecosport for around 4 years now, and in that much time, I haven't faced as many issues as I faced in Nexon within first 6 months. |
