Most Helpful Review | Amazing car Good cars, Looks so much good and a good runner in the Indian market. I believe it will create the biggest history in terms of a new three-cylinder engine with amazing speed and dashboard looks great. | My vehicle Verna 1.6 VTVT TRANSFORM 2010.
My vehicle Verna 1.6 VTVT TRANSFORM 2010. Reg no. MH-XXXXXX.

I have a Verna Transform September 2010 model first hand. Sparingly used it- only 23k km. It is always parked in a closed garage. I recently noticed a problem of jerking at low speed intermittently and so on 4th September it was serviced at Shreem Hyundai, Ray Road, Mumbai. They could not find any fault during this paid service. When the problem persisted, on request they sent a mechanic Mr. Ali who reported that this is strolling (jerking) and called for the vehicle at the service center(11 sept.) Where they found carbon accumulation which was cleaned. But the problem persisted and so they again called for the vehicle at the centre on 16th September.

Now I have been informed that all the 4 coils are defective and needs replacement which costs Rs 24,000. Its surprising that ALL the 4 coils are defective. While going through the facebook page of Hyundai(link below) I came to know that this is due to design flaw and there are many complaints for the same problem.

I request Hyundai to replace all 4 coils free of cost as this is due to design fault. I expect a prompt reply.
Performance.ignition coil problem due to design flaw, bad fuel economy. suspension not good. expensive spares. | Perfect car for an Indian family Writing this review after driving for 30,000 + km, out of which drove more than 17,000 km on highways, and being able to drive consistently at speeds of 110-120kmph on highways. Never had any problem with the mechanism of the vehicle. From a seating perspective: can easily fit in 2 adults in the last row, if it's children then 3 comfortably. Renault's cost of servicing is a little on the higher side, Overall the experience has been great. |
