Exterior

 Car's exterior is very good and much better than other cars in this segment. Impressive from fron, rear & side.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Spacious cabin and host of features. I couldnt have expected better than this in this segment.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 I recieved fuel economy of 17-19 kmpl in my 2000 km odometer. Engine is smooth and NVH levels are acceptable. Gearbox is smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Very smooth ride and handling, i love this car

Final Words

 This is the first time i loved the TATA car. I am completely astonished by overall package others cant offer. If you are looking for amaze, dzire & Xcent, give this car a serious thought because this is better than others. Just go for it.

Areas of improvement  

Dealer services are not as good as other offers. I want TATA to work in this area.

This is only problem which is against this car.

I have not recieved my dealer accesories yet even after 15 days of purchasing the car.

I m very much fond of cars. Whilst buying I preferred used car since I was buying a car first time. So I wasn't confident. But later on my better half convinced me to go for new one only. Hence I went through many details of various cars. It was during period Aug 2015. Even I went through details of newly going to launch car Maruti Suzuki Baleno. But since it was available only through Nexa channel only. There was no any Nexa outlet nearby my place. Even though I went to Pune and booked it with token amount. The executive at showroom said my selected model of Baleno will be available after 8 months. I was in hurry in buying the car. I couldn't wait for such long time. Then next choice was my Zest. The very next moment I decided to go with it. I selected platinum silver color. It was not available in ready stock but dealer assured me to make it. Within 2 days the car was ready to arrive at my doorstep. The manager was very prompt and tried very hard to make all documentation and other formalities so quick that I was really impressed. Now my car was ready to drive on road with registration no of my choice. It was time to drive testing my abilities and my experience was very satisfying. I really liked my choice of selecting this car. Only thing is the car midel Tata Zest 90PS XM is now discontinued by Tata. Now only 75PS model is available. I can say my driving debut with this car was very successful. I enjoy driving this car and I think I would have missed this enjoyment if I would have selected any other car. Even cost wise I got all latest features available at that time such as ABS and EBD compared to other cars. Even max mileage I attained in this car is 27.4 kmpl. Services at workshop are also satisfying.

I bought this car in August 2015, from Dealer in Lucknow for 7.35 lacs on road including seat cover with Gold AMC, it was an excellent bargain at that time.TATA dealers have not been very courteous, same with me but overall decent and satisfactory. In the first 20 months or so I drove my car for about 46000 km with the absolutely trouble-free period during and I have not sent even a single rupee on regular services also, thanks to Gold AMC. last three years i have driven my car only 15000 km this period has also been trouble-free. Comfort level is high specially in the back seats. It gives maximum mileage on the highway with a speed of 75 to 80 km/h that is 23-24km/l. But if you increase speed to 95-100km/h it comes down to 20km/litre.In the city, it is 17-18km/l.I think my battery has last its life early than expected. Tyres also I have changed at 57000 km. Overall I am happy to choose this vehicle.

I am buy maruti suzki Swift dizar but that pried I visited tata car showroom so I see tata zest xm I like it then I cancelled Swift dizer and book tata zest xm driving is very smooth and camfart and best parfomence sarvice costing is very cheef nice

Exterior: Excellent in exterior in comparision with it's rivals. No other car gives fog lamps, ORVM lights and chrome finishing in the mid variant. Dull side is the guage of the material used. According to me the body should have been little more stronger. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Superb features such as driver info, steering mounted audio controls, bluetooth pairing, good space on rear seats that can accomodate 3 people easily. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Don't feel the power/punch of the 90 ps power. There is lag on engine. Clutch is not smooth enough after running 800 kms. Fuel economy is appreciable. Mechanical parts are not upto the mark. Plastic lid for containers under the hood are of poor quality. 

Ride Quality & Handling: Punch of the 90ps power lacking. Not bad but of mediocre. Tata, you have to work out a little bit more. 

Final Words: At it's best possible for the money spent. 

Areas of improvement: Body guage should improve, quality of parts under the bonnet should improve, parcel tray on the rear should have little more room. Could have accomodated air bag in the mid-variant.

I driven this car far a few thousand kilometers im feeling very very proud and lucky to have this car as my dream. My parents were opposing me to buy that car bt against them i bought that and i just attached it to a well known company now im earning very well this only possible because of that zest . Really i loved it a lot.. I just want to say- Thank you Tata...

Tata zest is best in affordable price . Very much high mileage. It gives up to 30 kilometre per litre. My Tata zest is giving now 27 km per litre mileage. And its maintenance in under budget
