Recently Ihave purchased the INDIGO LS Dicor III, I feel a great comfort in driving as well as travelling. My family is happy with the decision & all liked it very much. All my friends appreciated the car.
      1. This car has perfectly met my expections.
      2. See,if one compares different sedans available in todays' market he will get confused easilybut if one can compare as per his own requirement & his economic caliber ,I feel no other brand can compete with T-Motors.
      3. When it our choice(my family) the question of dislike doesn't arise.
      4. Best option for anyone,I have recommended to many of my friends.

Overall is great. But the reputation matters!! Yes, Reputation. When I bought this Car (Tata Indigo LX DiCoR 1.4) on 23rd of December, 2007 my collegues asked me the reason behind the purchase of this 'TAXI'. But, I replied nothing and just gave him the keys. After riding it, he enquired wheather this car was imported from some other country. "The best Disel Car ever rode by me", was his polite reply. The next day, he went to Maruti Suzuki Showroom to cancel his booking for Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire VDi 1.3 as it shook his pocket very well...

Today, after driving this car from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from the Kuchhs to the hills of Arunanchal Pradesh, this car never let me down to regret about my decision.

This car has been now 8 years old, approximately 1,90,000 kms driven by myself because this car can't be left over to any driver just because the driver will enjoy to drive this car...  :p

I wish Tata Motors India Pvt. Ltd. to re-open the production lines for Tata Indigo LS DiCoR, Indigo LX DiCoR, Indigo SX DiCoR and Indigo XL DiCoR. I will be very much glad and I promise to buy two moreof this productions, namely the SX and the XL one...

I bought this car in Dec 2007. This has given me an average of 15 kmpl on long drives on the highways with AC on. Not driven much on the city roads.

Very good driving comfort. No stress felt at all. AC is cool :). Rock steady even at high speeds of 100+ kmph. Should come with OE fitted parking sensor. It is a must when parking in tight slots in the city streets.

Colors and styling is good though the interior fit & finish has scope for improvement. Electronic trip meter is useful on long drives.

Power steering is good and the tight turning radius (I feel it's just a little larger, may be 10 to 20%, than Maruti 800) is quite amazing for the size of the car.

I can recommend this to my friends withoubt doubt.

Good Power, Comfort and spaceGear shifting needs a bit of efforts.

I love fast driving, With my Dicor I can beat any car in a street race...specially on signals...though the second gear is a litle sluggish at slow speeds, but if you rev the engine enough it delivers good power and pickup.

I recently drove 1300 kms in 2 days. Did not feel tired. Best part was with AC running all the time, my kid was as fresh at the end of the journey as before. AC is very powerful and good. Seating is good and comfortable.

Beats the Ford Fiesta which costs 1 lac more approx with the Dicor engine out performing the Tdi engine. Verna is definitely better with 106 horses pulling it, but with a cost differnce of over 2 lacs, Indigo Dicor is great value for money :-)

Upgrading from a small petrol car to a diesel car was a problem for me to decide. But after the test drive I was convinced. And now with 10K+ kms I am convinced fully.

Overall a good car to buy.

Very responsive engine (Dicor model). Very powerful AC. Comfortable ride on higways. Good Mileage.Styling...though improved..confuses with Indica...though there is no comparision with Dicor

My complain was regarding front door setting, AC cooling system and tape. There was a positive response from there side (as it usually comes to temporarily satisfy the customer) and accordingly my car was sent to the dealer in this illusion that we will get for what we are going. But the story was a bit different- M/S P.J.Janee & comp .,asansol which is there exclusive showroom tried to rectify but was unable and said that it is beyond the technical capability of our workshop to rectify this and company should be held and rectify the same.”ye manufacturing defect hai company ko boliye, hum kuch nahi kar sakte” this was the response. If this is the kind of service and technical facility they can provide at max. then they are the worst service provider. And all above that there management were not at all concerned to check once that a proper action had been taken or not.

The story doesn’t end here; few days back the fuel pipe connecting to the nozzle start leaking. The thing seems simple to hear, but it is not so. The same dealer (the only option we have) was given the car to rectify, they said that the pipe is not with us since it has not been provided by the company and you have to wait for another 8-9 days. The other option given was even more astonishing—we were supplied with few contact nos. and asked to arrange the required part to get the thing done quickly or wait for 8-9 days. just think!!!If the nos. provided are of the authentic Tata parts suppliers then is it the duty of customer to contact them and arrange for the concerned part? Or if they are of local suppliers then the current situation of Tata motors is so pathetic that it is unable to arrange out for a part?

      this mas my personal experience...

Conclusion:-seeing this car performance and service  I want to get rid of it because now or some other day it will be me who is going to repent.

It is 2 years now since I bought the TATA INDIGO LX TDI BSIII. Right from day one, I regret buying a car like this.

The body coloured trims were not pasted in proper alignment during the delivery and I was told they will correct during Ist service, which they nicely refused to do so later on.

Within 3 months, the body started rusting and when I took up the same with TATA people, they promised to correct it during nect service, but refused later on saying, my car required an anti-rust treatment, due to the fact that Pondicherry is a coastal city. (Now tell me how many of you in Mumbai, Chennai or Goa would buy this argument)

I agreed for an anti-rust treatment (AT MY COST), and they messed up the whole car. They messed up the seats, the rubber trims, the door beedings, the windshield and all.

The DASHBOARD becomes sticky when the car is parked in sunlight and this they blame it on the SUN. The interior is so shabbily done, that at times you tend to feel it is some cheap Chinese Toy.

The Power Window switches have been placed in a very awkward place, near the gearshift at the centre, so everytime you need to bring a front window glass down, you need to bend down to your left while driving and lose your concentration on road.

The seats are like hard rocks and are very uncomfortable.

The side view mirrors are so badly designed and made that very month you may have to shell out Rs.1250/- for each side that breaks off.

The FM antenna that comes as a standard fitment cannot be changed and it really sucks. Just 20kms from the city you will not get FM signals.

There is no bottle holder for the back passengers.

Rattling everywhere is complimentary for TATA customers.

Send your vehicle for service and they will send back with more complaints.

Only positives seen are: Good Road Grip, Excellent Mileage (13-15kmpl of Diesel in City with AC on and 16 on the Highway). Max speed is 140, eventhough there is lot of engine sound. The engine sound is there even at 70kmph. The brakes are average, the boot space is generous, the quality of plastics and fittings is like a cheap CHINA TOY.

Good Fuel Economy, Great Boot SpaceWorst Interior, Worst Body Work, Dirtiest Service, Very Noisy

      Hi,

Recently I have bought an Indigo LS - TDi @ mumbai. I am satisfied with its initial performance.

Good space, huge boot, feels sturdy on road. A bit too early to speak about fuel economy. Good suspension and almost no noise in the cabin. Very powerful AC.

Colors were a limiting facotrs in the base version. Give some noise while starting - may be a service issue (cause I have seen other indigos don't make this start up noise). also my driver reported slow pick up.

Did some external cosmetics to the rub rails and mirrors. It looking different car altogether!

Good space, fuel economy, sturdy, VFM car!available colors, pick up?

I had driven 200 kms so far and I am satisfied with the vehicle. Very comfortable inside. Fiesta class comfort is not expected because I paid 200000 less for this one. Except outside engine sound, everything ok still now (200km so far)

Fear of bad reviews is the only problem with me (it is making me sleepless nights)

LX dicor good fuel economy value for moneyplastic quality not good boot lock bad

I would advice everyone to steer clear of the tata indigo dicor or any dicor varient. The fuel system is untested and unreliable. The service centres are terrible and most of the times you would have a harrowing experience.

I have bought a tata indigo dicor LXI, Spent a cool 6 lakh +. The cars fuel system busted twice, once in warranty period and once just after warranty expired.

I am now being asked to dish out a whooping Rs. 1 lakh for replacement of the same.

Needless to say that the service team and the customer care is being totally uncooperative and giving me reasons like " you must have used adultrated fuel" etc.

Believe me this car is not worth purchasing....

good fuel economyterrible and unreliable fuel injection system, terrible service from service centres
