Exterior Though it resembles vista but it is a completely new product. The vista platform gives it a much needed cabin space so its just a perception that car looks like Vista so its a taxi. It is better looking than few of its competition and its sad to see that the critics also see the resemblence as a downside. Further the new taxi cars on the roads today are Accent, swift and Liva so this perception should not bother anyone now,

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superbly spacious. Rear seats are blessing for a family of five. Leg room is exceptionally great and it provides a superior comfort compared to swift (i have driven swift a lot of times).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is a great piece of engineering, multidrive modes actually work and the shift in power is instantly evident (no other car in this price range gives such a great feature). Fule econoly is quite good I am getting around 14 KMPL in city and around 19 on Highway. If you drive this car sensibly it may give even more mileage. Gear box is smooth but has little vibration which is an area of improvement but this can be ignored.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very good. This car is confident at high speeds unlike swift which starts wobbling when pushed hard. Also it manages Indian roads really well as it is heavier than swift and suspension is on harder side, it sometimes feels as sturdy as an SUV.

Final Words If safety is your priority then dont go by perceptions of others - It is a great car and xms version gives most value for money as u get all safety features in around 5.50 lacs where as for hyundai and maruti one needs to pay around 6.50 lacs for safety features.

Areas of improvement TATA please provide some bottle holders in door pockets (although space provided under co passanger seat and huge glove box can accomodate 4-5 one liter bottle but its still not that comfortable as we have only one designated bottle holder in the car).

Exterior Excellent looks. I like the back view more than the front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good features, space and comfort. Perhaps could have double coloured interiors, missing bottle holders on the side pockets.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very powerful can easily bit any car of the same segment (especially when driving in sports mode), Fuel Economy yet to check but was told that it will give 17 or 18, very smooth gear box.

Ride Quality & Handling very smooth ride quality, very good turning radius and the car stays grounded even at high speed and hardly moves which is excellent, plus ABS helps to control the car well.

Final Words I did an excellent choice to buy this car. Plus the exchange offer was icing on the cake !! Amazing.

Areas of improvement Side pockets should have bottle holders perhaps and may be double coloured interiors.

Exterior I like the front and rear design well. not super but not bad, rear size of tail lamp is not propotioned with the size of car.could have been better size. Rear area totally looks nice. iam satisfied. sporty look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is nice,keeps good quality of plastic, dashboard desighn super,fit and finish is best. I prefer to buy bolt because swift is not good which has no features,no comfort and no ride quality. legroom, head room, and seating are good.three passengers can sit comfortably in the rear seat.headroom is sufficient harman system fantastic there is bluetooth phone and audio connectivity. super. No bluetooth conectivity, no ABS, EBD and Airbag in Swit Vxi. pricing of bolt Xms and swif Vxi are almost same. no seat adjustment in swift.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good,muti drive option is good. now I get 13.3 kl averge mileage in highway and in city 12.08kl. I got these mileage by driving only in ECO mode. I expect that it will increase after one or two service. stearing is super, breaking super, supension super.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is fantastic,undulations of the road is absorbed by the super suspension. good car for indian road.i think tata maintenance cost is less than  maruthi. Maruthi is exploiting peoples" faith. when the demand for maruthi cars is increased company making more profit by redusing the quality,and features. maruthi cars are not good value for money especially swift which is more priced now through face lift. They only changed the looks of old swift.old swit"s engine was good but now maruthi is assembling the engine here in India.

Final Words Bolt revetron petron fantastic car, value for money car. you have to get rid off the prejudices which were created by Tata company in past. Now They have improved a lot. Sure. if They improve their service and start new service centers tata will overtake the maruthi cars sure. Dealers should take care in the time of delivary. I was not satisfied with then on the time of delivary..becoz not cleaned well. not polished well. careless dealing at the time of delivary only. Other time they have treated well.

Areas of improvement Plastic quality could have been better, One litre bottle holder shold be added,propotion of rear light not good. no red reflector on rear bumber in XMS varient. too bad to see. a bit amout of of vibration and shake of timing belt felt in the cabin. This can be felt only when we carefully notice.plastic should be smooth.

Exterior BOLT looks attractive in Venetion Red color with black C-pillar, Chrome line on doors near windows, Rear spoiler, Body Lines on side doors

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Bolt looks mordern with JAVA BLACK interiors and scores very high on its feature list - Harman Music System with 8 speakers, Bluetooh connectivity, USB, Aux provisions.

Sterring feels good to hold and has very comfortable access to button for access to Music system & Phone Calls. 

All seats are spacious, Comfortable with appropriate under thigh support, legroom & Head room. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Multidrive options are a boon this Small car segment. Engine had very good Lowend & mid range performance (Torque from Turbocharger). 1.2 Litre MPFI engine performs desired durty very well but get noisy as revs build up(sometimes it sounds like Diesel engine).

Fuel Economy with mix of ECO, CITY & SPORT modes during 850kms drive in a week: City - 10.1 km/l and Highway - 14.1km/l.
- Highway Fuel economy in ECO mode was 15.6km/l which dropped down to 9.5km/l when switch to Sport mode for FUN DRIVE.
- The power & engine response in SPORT mode was amazing. Definately worth it! (It gave feeling of driving a much powerful car).

Tata has worked a lot for providing a smooth Gearbox. Scope for reducing Gear lever Vibrations. 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is fantastic, it absorbs most of the bumps comfortably & feels a lot more confident while taking corners and at high speeds. All 5 seats keep the passengers firm at their position during turns (thanks to Corner Stability Control).

Final Words Fantastic Value for Money car with loads for features.

Areas of improvement

1. Reduce gaps visible in Plastic parts.

2. Provide slot for keeping Bottle at Doors.

Good Style, Rear Legroom, Comfortable for 5 people, Multidrive, ABS/Airbags, Harman Music SystemPoor Finish quality - Gaps in plastic fitments, Low Fuel economy

Exterior is Sturdy, Stylish, born under Tata family, resemblance with vista is NOT acceptable, addition of more 2-3 Colour with special graphic is my suggestion for its peppy look enhancement.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All interiors are at par and of very good quality with ample space for even five heavy persons, In built Music Sound System quality is superb.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Robust, excellent and spaceously build up, power and pickup, slow crawling and cruzing speed is designed excellently with high practical experiences by tatas.

Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable and with easily acceptable console functions during driving The Three Modes function gives reliability at various suitable condition, the safety features of ABS, CSC,EBD, Airbags gives trust worthy feeling during condition.

Final Words Excellent Sensible choice for long Driving durations with  trust worthy safety features.

Areas of improvement Not yet come across still more to talk later.

 

Good Fuel Economy in city as well as on Highways, Comfort Silent and ReliableNO under observation

Tata Motors are well known for the build quality, Hatsoff to them on getting this small dynamo. Better Road Grip, Good pickup and very comfortable for daily commutation. Spacious for a family of 4. Good for a journey of 400kms odd. Worth for the price. Easy Maintenance,gud service centres. Needs a bit improvisation on the interior.

Exterior Exterior is Good not best, front resembles with tata vista which makes the wrong perception for car. Honey comb structure make the car diffrent from vista look. Thier may a chance of improvement at rear side.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is excellent, controls on sterring makes the car toatlly diffrent on this range. Quite spacious car and comfortable on long drive. Seat adjustment feature make the car one for all package. Harman sound system and climate control with aux and iphone connectivity make the car totally differnt.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite powerfull in sports modes and one can fee the same while he switch between its multidrive mode. Fuel economy is quite good in city and one can easily get min 20 mileage on highway with AC in use.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling of car is quite good in high as well as in low spped. Steering is quite free while parking.

Final Words Finally the car is value for money and good package at this segment. If comaprable to other cars in this segements it need to be first choice for one.

Multi drive mode, Interior is quite goodExteriors resembles with vista, which makes wrong perception

Exterior Look is one of the drawback for Bolt. tata need to concentrate much more on this topic but compared to old tata cars the exterior look is better with flame tail lamp also rear spoiler tries to give sporty look to car. Front look has been modified with new grille,new projected headlamps & curvy bonnet design. These changes gives some stunning look from front. Back & side view of car not upto the mark.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Multidrive mode is excellent feature which help you to rap up ur vehicle speed in seconds. Good cabin space & overall comfort, harman system sound quality is mindblowing also inbuilt Bluetooth, steering mounted ctrls, seat height adjustments are added advantages for this price tag. Interior plastic quality is decent. Drawback is boot space compared to figo & tiago then bottle holders are not available.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Really Tata motors need to be appreciated for this new multi drive reverton engine. Smooth engine with zero vibration, good fuel economy compared to other competitors Highway eco avg:18.2km/l, city avg:15 to 16km/l, sports mode avg:13km/l. Most powerful engine in this segment, smooth transition of gears in all speeds.IF SPORT MODE IS ON we will feel like racer while pressing the accelerator. Engine calibrated for all drive modes accurately we can feel the difference & response in seconds.

Ride Quality & Handling Overall Ride quality is good,steering system is good with handy steering wheel & response of steer to wheel good, ABS braking efficiency is bit low compared to other cars. Vehicle cornering stabilty need to improve on high speeds.

Final Words Petrol car with turbocharger foe this pricing is chanceless because new turbocharger itself cost 60-70k but tata motors added this & made it very less pricing really Value for money car with best features.

Tata motors engineers given their best in this car but unfortunately brand name & old tata car resemblance causes drop in sales. Also service quality is excellent & customer care services are better.
