I Have bought this used car on August 2017 due to budget constraints to own New car. As Chevrolet Beat was always my dream car since it has eye catchy looks. I have driven almost 23000 kms since i own it. Fortunately, the one who owned it maintained this car neatly with time to service. So my choice was fully satisfying to own this Beat. As i am sporty looks liver, i owned Red coloured Beat. Coming to its Looks, Absolutely stunning design from exterior looks. I kept on staring this vehicle on roads. Comfort- As i am 5feet 10inch of height, sometimes i used to get little niggles during long rides due to low leg room. Drive is absolutely smooth. Boot space is low- cant plan long tours with luggage for 4 people. Music system and speakers are good- had an issue with the speakers as its layer torn off. Repaired it. AC performance is good. Accommodating 5 persons for long ride is not suggestible. Performance- No major issues so far, once the first owner replaced its coolant piping system and i am going to replace its clutch plates soon dur to back gear issue. Its giving 17KMPL on highways and 15KMPL in city with AC keeping ON. I do not drive car with Mirrors open. Service & Maintenance- As the company shut down its production, we have only 1 service center in and around hyderabad. Every time i am spending around 6-8000 for general service which is bit not an economical one. pros- Stunning looks, cute design, mileage, Pickup. Cons- Service availability, Boot space, Leg room, Spares cost.

Buying was very eazy. Wonderful.expperience. smooth drive. So good milage. On highway and bith in cities oil service is pretty good. With roofrail its look like sports car and stily. I love that car. Ac chill so good. Time to time which recomended by the company gives car new life. Result it gives more milage. More or less zero maintenence and cost worty. Look wise its so nice.

Exterior Okay that's why I decided to buy it.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious but ac gets damages in less than 30000 km of ride. Gear handle damages in 3 yrs even if parked in a template climate like kerala.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Cleth breaks in less than 22000 km drive and  spreads have to come from pune and will reach the service station only after pestering the staffs for at lest 60 days. And if warranty period is over. never replaced.

Ride Quality & Handling Most untrustworthy  staff and service ever in automobile  history. I will frankly never ever suggest this company even to my enemy. They act as American citizens who take the whole world to senseless heartless stealing ,when they are neither Americans. The real American s are sympathising and empathic.. but they will for sure spoil the American company by stealing and interchanging parts.

Areas of improvement Be truly sincere to your customers.

My Father in law purchased a Chevrolet Beat (reg.no. UP50Z8300) for me in 2011. On March 25th night there was some problem with the clutch so I called the customer care executive and they connected my call to the local dealer who arranged a crane for lifting the same at around 10 PM. I paid 2500 for the service.

As per the estimate provided earlier the value of service came out to be 17000 approx. But I got a next call stating there are other failures also which costs me around 55500 more for some other spares (Details attached). The revised estimate is now 73000+taxes.

Please note that for a car of 5Lakhs landed, I have to spend nearly 20% of the charges for spares replacement and that too within a span of 4-5 yrs. I am still unable to understand that why should I buy/ recommend a car to my colleagues which has such a high value of spares and maintenance cost at the end of 4-5 years.

I am getting my car repaired as presently I have no other option rather than to continue but this is for sure that I will circulate this information to my colleagues/ friends that they should never go for Chevrolet cars. I have other cars also like Ford, Suzuki Alto K10 and they are already more than 5-7 years old and still maintenance cost has never exceeded 4000 rupees.

I am surprised that I called customer care also regarding this and they assured me to settle the issue and call me in next 30mins but I did not get any response.

Hope this company does well in near future.

Interior space is goodboot space is too low

Very good car,,, it's very good, Milage/comfort, overall good Only authorised service centre issue, But it's ok, it's possible to service Other services centre, lots of service centre Available in the market.

Buying experience was super easy, learning to drive and the comfortable drive seat with fully gripped steering wheel power full engine makes super reliable besides engine and functions in this budget it has a appreciateable interior.

We want chevrolet back in India. INDIA LOVES YOU CHEVY. Iam driving my chevy beat diesel and its running smoothly.few complaints about the car is the pickup system. Over all this is the best city car. Tiny 1.0 diesel roars superbly . ????

It is a good and cool peppy car. I have driven it 10,000 kms. I have driven it to Nepal it goes up so it is a good package. And the steering is light and the music system is damn good.

I am Jitendra Singh from Bhopal (M.P.) my vehicle registration no. is MP-04 XXXXXXX I purchased new Chevrolet Beat in 2012. Performance of this vehicle in first 2 year is ok but after 2-3 years and 20000 km i face lot of problems.

1. All four doors of my vehicle in very bad conditions because chevrolet company provide me all four doors of very cheap quality. After 3 year all four doors get rusty and all doors rot very badly.

2. Vehicle smoke dark black colour and engine not working than I changed turbo of engine.

3. AC is also not working regularly.

4. Engine sound is very high this is very irritating.

5. I off engine after driving but Fan is running 10-15 minut after driving & radiator also vibrate. 6. Pickup of this vehicle is also very bad. Finally I said to all viewer Chevrolet is cheater company. They cheat me and they give me car of very bad and cheap quality use material.
