The buying experience is we get an LT petrol for good condition2010 model 2 .50 lakh good ride best braking and wheel radius has too much no car can turn the rear tyres as they move it's looking like a sports car sharp and curvy body service and parts are low cost available for every one pros the ac modes temp has good and con s suspension and talight problems of rainy season entering water into lamps quality of fixing not there

We have taken this car. To be honest it is a great car. It's mileage is quite good. It is a very beneficial car for a small family. In one thing full recovery of money.

Exterior SPORTY HATCHBACK, MUSCULAR BUILT, GRAT LINING, BEAUTIFUL HEADLIGHTS, ALMOST MAKE ME FEEL LIKE OWNING A FINE YOUNG MINI-DRAGON, READY AND EAGER TO BREATH FIRE ANY TIME YOU WANT IT TO. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) FUTION OF ELEGENCE, CLASS AND SPORTS, EXCELENT FEATURES, BACK SEAT CAN BE A BIT TIGHT FOR 3 BIG SIZE PERSON BUT UNBEATABLE COMFORT, MUCH BETTER THAN i10, FIGO, POLO & EVEN SCORPIO, GO FOR A TEST DRIVE AND FEEL THE DIFFRENCE FOR YOURSELF. TRULY "GENERAL MOTOR" CLASS. A 10 STAR, 1000 IF POSSIBLE, WHERE COMFORT IS CONCERNED. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox GREAT PERFORMANCE, INSTANT TORQUE, FUEL ECONOMY IS FAIR WITH A/C, BUT GREAT WITHOUT. THE GEAR BOX IS SMOOTH LIKE SILK.

Ride Quality & Handling RIDE QUALITY IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS IN THIS CLASS, GREAT FRONT SUSPENTION, MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE GLUIDING NOT RIDING. BUT HANDLING HAS A BIT OF SPACE FOR IMPROVEMENT, YET BETTER THAN OTHERS IN 1.2 CC CLASS.

Final Words NOT ENOUGH WORDS TO EXPRESS MY PLEASURE AND SATISFACTION. BOUGHT IT AFTER 3 MONTHS OF THOROUGH RESEARCH, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR BIG THINGS IN SMALL PACKEDGE THIS IS THE CAR FOR YOU, BUY WITH EYES COSED. GREAT ON EVERY ASPECT, SAFTEY FEATURES, PRICE, PERFORMANCE, LOOKS, FEATURES, INTERIORS AND BUILT QUALITY. Areas of improvement NOT THAT ONE CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT IT, BUT MORE SPEAKERS AND BLUETOOTH SHOULD BE THERE IN TOP MODEL.

Good car... Overall experience is so good ... Milage is 14 .. in the city... & 18 + in highway... The engine is so silent. Even after 10 years of manufacturing date... Only. Temp. The sensor is seen faulty.

It's a great mistake to buy the Chevrolet beat due to following...... 1.No service center in Siliguri. 2. The company stopped sell in India. So, I am unable to take decision whether it has to sell or not. Because within a very short time the spare parts will be unavailable in Indian market. The general motors have created with his customers like me.

Well I have been using this car for the last four years. It is almost 40000 kms now. I have not spent any rupees except yearly service. One thing I want to improve is its pick up. Otherwise it is OK compared to all its competitors. I like it very much. It was a gift from father. I can say that it's very good car.

Me, my parents and my bro's family live in same place, and we had to travel a lot in Hyderabad. So, we bought two different diesel cars for our family in 2012. One of them Swift and other Beat (one for the reason to not togo with same cars, so looked for something other than Swift for the second one). We bought the high end diesel model. So, my review is solely based on comparison with swift.

Now 2017, we repent for going with Beat, and instead have gone with another color in Swift for the following reasons -

1. Mileage: varied 17-21, almost never crossed 21-22 inspite of driving defensively, even after being soft on accelaration. Almost same as Swift, nothing more compared to Swift here.

2. Power: From the time we bought these cars - I could easily notice how underpowered this car is. More than the power - it is the number of gear shifts you have to make while driving this on city roads. You are always busy shifting gears (which again are not smooth). On the other hand the power distribution in Swift across the gears suits the city roads. You can smoothly drive in 3rd gear for much of the speed range in city.

3. Gear box : Not at all smooth, Chevrolet should learn from Maruthi.

4. Shock absorbers: Horrible. The small tires make the ride quality even more pathetic. I would not recommend this to anytime older, or someone suffering from back pain. My father never rides this for commutes that have bad routes. The noise from shocks is pretty awkward.

5. Service : This is one thing everyone should consider. We have an issue with automatic climate control, and door locks. We had to make 10s of trips to dealership, everytime they say they have fixed, come back home - the problem comes back again. We were really frustrated when we had to deal with this problem - especially during a marriage in the family. No proper training given to Service personnel (the Chevrolet dealership in Nagole area). Whats the use of having a car if it is not serving the purpose during the times when you need the vehicle the most. AC still doesn't work to this date - it has been months.

6. Resale : Now that it has been 4-5 years, we plan to replace both out cars - Swift (90000 kms), Beat (61000 kms). Guess which one has a good resale and more people are asking for - Swift. And you also know now - why the Swift recorded more kms than Beat (because everyone preferred to grab Swift first when it was available all the time).

I would not recommend this car to anyone if your need is to commute in the city. Better spend a lakh more and go for something better (or a low end i10 or Swift).

NothingMileage, Performance, Poor Service

Exterior Exterior is excellent. proper shaped car no need of any change. I love the shape.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) specious, comfortable whlile driving specially for  your kness. You can easily move your foots while driving. Great space between front seat and back seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox When driving on highway, smoothly pick ups speed over 100 km/hr. it dosent make any noice in 110 km/hr.

Ride Quality & Handling Easy to ride and handle in cities where you have treffic and parking problems.

Easy to fit child seat/child belt bag to seat. comfortable for baby too. It is useful for long trips too.

Final Words Excellent car for daily use. economic too.

Areas of improvement Maintainence/servicing is costly. spare parts are also costly and not easily availabe. allways you have to wait for that. There should be some changes in dashbord design.

When AC is on full speed car  decreases  its pick up speed so this problem should be solved.

Good mileage. it saves your money :) , awesome for working ladies.If you start AC on full speed car will decrease its pick up speed.
