      Look and Style: The facelift has made Micra look neutral if not totally masculine. Looks great. New chrome grill makes it looks awesome.

      Comfort: With driver seat height adjustable and great interiors with good head rest at the rear, Micra gives a sedan comfort. Comfortable leg room and head room. Decent Audio system with bluetooth for streaming and handsfree. Good seating position and visibility for the driver.

      Pickup: Maverick.. It just zooms, thanks to its CVT. In sports mode it just takes off like a jet.

      Mileage: In city for hop-in and hop-out drives it gives 14.6kmpl. For considerably long like 30 mins+ drives it gives 16.0 kmpl and for highway drive it has given 17.3kmpl.

      Best Features: 1. Its superb performance, thanks to CVT. 2. Good steering sensitivity. 3. Good head & leg room. 4. Powerful A/C. 5. Smart key and push button.

      Needs to improve: Should have reverse parking sensors if not reverse camera.

      Overall Experience: Just awesome. Recommended for city riders specially in high density traffic areas.

      Exterior Looking similar to an AStar and i10 / i20, Micra seems familiar at a distance, coming up close it is definitly different and more cute.  It is all curves, smooth and fine. Mine is Sunshine Orange and it looks definitly different, quiet what I wanted.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is a lot of space for a hatchback, Iam 5.9 and quiet a large frame and I need lots of space and Micra does have it. Large windows visibility is fantastic. seats have been improved from the test drive vehicle, getting out is not very easy but not at all difficult. Tilt adjustable steering, drive computer, climb assist, a very good audio system, the dash lights are a warm orange, Air bag for driver the details are the same as mentioned in all web sites including nissan's. What I felt good was the ample space, the automatic climate control - I strongly advice all to go in for auto climate controle it is so comfortable, the audio system is very good,  good thump and nice clarity of sound, seats are wide and comfortable. The dash and other plastics does feel good and are of good quality. The fit and finish is also good. Engine noise is audible inside but resonable.  Overall interiors GOOD.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Perfomance - Good pick up, no lag, smooth and peppy, Fuel Economy - A good 21.9kmpl as per drive computer. the blocks representing the fuel gauge is not coming down, Gear box - Smooth no problem.  

      Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good, no swaying feels planted, pot holes are felt softly, seats are comfotable, good thigh support side support head rests are detachable front and back and soft, lots of leg room front and back even with the front seat fully pushed back. The power steering is responsive and does not strain. Corners can be taken with confidence at higher speeds. I would have felt even more  safe with ABS. Overall Good.

      Final Words I made a good dicision to buy Micra amids speculation of a sparsely populated dealers and a very few number of vehicles on the road. The vehicle is definitly good and the quality of the car will definitly bring in more buyers. I have turned myself into a big fan of  Micra. For the price - I got a lot of gooddies. I would also  like to mention that Nissan is the only company which responded to my on line request for an  test drive within 5 minutes of posting the request. The rest some have responded in 3-4 weeks some I am waiting, even after 10 weeks have passed. Kudos to EVM Nissan Earnakulam too.

      Areas of improvement I started out to buy a Sedan but came back to a hatchback and setteled with Micra. I did get most of the features I wanted in a Sedan in a hatchback at a much lower price but I would have been fully satisfied if it had ABS and a USB port also. But still I love my MICRA.

      Good looking, Smart, Peppy, Stylish and LoadedWish it had ABS and USB port too.

       There is no responsiblity for nissan . they just put you to dealers head you have to slog with them, nissan customer care useless. New car i driven 23,000 Km given for regular maintainance deler informed that need to chage gear box, i have extended warranty, deler informed nissan not rspoding we cant do anythong, i called nissan and asked reson no responce send mails no responce next sending legal notice

      Exterior

       Exterior is conservative but decent.You are getting rear wiper and washer. Not very bold styling which I don't like much.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Lot of features are offered at reasonable price. XL has all power windows, excellent music system, remote keyless entry, remote central locking and adustable steering. Aboveall there is driver side airbag.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       Engine performance will be just like its competitors. Nothing stands out from data available. The only thingh Nissan have an edge over is their qulity and reliability. Engine and transmission are going to last longer. Gearbox could be better than most other cars.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       It will be average again with competitors. Ride qulity will be better since body has less number of components.

      Final Words

      There are too many variables at this time. Test drive not offered, actual car in all colors not available for look, price not firm and servicing network not availalbe at all places. A guy in Chandigarh has X-Trail and service engineer comes all the way from Delhi for servicing with all his gadgets and material. 

      Areas of improvement

      Exterior Really looks great in spring green.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice and simple dash board, Decent Audio system, Very good FM Receiver, Nice and improved seats and head rest on rear seat on DCI pure drive model.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Less noise than Indica, Liva and Figo. Smooth gear shift and better millage than Indica. So far I’ve covered 1000 K.Ms both city and Highways. The onboard computer shows 22.3 KM/Litre. In city 19-20 KMs/L and Highways 22+ KMs/L with mix of AC turned on at NH and SH roads when driving at the speed of 80-90 KM/Hour.  It is good to have 80 KM/H at 2000 RPM. This is my second car.

      I also own Indica DLS and covered 82,000 KMs and I drove swift for 1000 K.M. The Micra's DCI engine is agile as Swift DDIS.

      Ride Quality & Handling Easy to turn. Good at Highways too. Tilt steering allows to easy access of steering. Just keeping a finger on steering enough while driving in Highways.

      Deal breaker: What made me to settle with Micra over new Swift

      Initially I booked new swift ZDI on July 15 2011, a month before it was introduced in India.  Dealer informed that I was the second customer who booked that model and he promised me that I would be getting it in 30 days.  No one knows the exact cost of the car at that time and I was assuming it would be around 7.1 lakhs on road. I went to show room on the Aug 17 2011 to see it first time and it was priced at 7.48 lakhs. I liked the interiors and exteriors. I just sat on back seat and found that my head was just half inches bellow from the roof. Most of my family members are around 6 feet tall. I was little disappointed because after paying 7.5 lakhs, the rear passenger who is 6 feet tall should take care his head and neck while traveling on bumpy roads. I also felt little discomfort while entering and exiting the car compare to Micra. On the day they informed that I was 15th in the list of ZDI because who booked older Swift VDI had shifted to new ZDI model. So my waiting period entered into 2 month. Then I started looking for alternate because of starting of rainy days. I did test driving on Figo TDI Titanium, Liva Petrol ( diesel was not available at that time) and Micra. I felt better in Micra because of its space, ambiance, fit and finish in side the car. I can say Micra is best and Liva is worst.  One of my friend who was having Honda Civic informed that Micra’s DCI Engine is much better engine than Swifts DDIS (originally Fiat’s MultiJet). It triggered me to do second test drive on Micra DCI and fell in love with Micra. I was double happy to book Micra because my daughter wanted a green color car which was not available in Swift.

      I was little skeptical about missing ABS even in higher version of Micra. I used to drive safe speed of 100 KM/H in my Indica and safe driving always better than safety system in the car. In India 99% of the car( also other vehicles) running without ABS. I’m going to stay in Chennai 95% of the days in a year.

      Final Words

       Both engines are same in all aspects. DDIS is slightly quieter engine than DCI. Since Micra have better cabin insulation I hardly find any noise. Compare to Swift VDI it is better VFM. Price difference between Swift VDI and Micra Diesel XV is less than Rs 15k. But you are getting Audio and Driver side SRS in Micra XV. It is worth for it.

      Areas of improvement Seat height adjustment missing (I’m 6.1 feet. It would be better if seat height adjustment is in place which will improve comfort level even better). ABS (it will be very helpful during panic breaking on highways especially in wet surface).

      I have complained against your dealer fortune Nissan, Hyd. on 4th april 2012. to your customer care . Mr.Yash received it. After that, i have called customer care several time in this regard.I have emailed so many times the same.But, so far, no action is being taken.My car is lying there unattended. I am also not going there, because my complain undecided. 

      This is your product (Nissan Micra Indian Manufactured), your authorized workshop not giving response.I am not asking any warranty claim,I am not asking any free services, I want to get my car repaired under Paid Service.Why they will have any problem repairing it? whatever, I want to repair they should do it.They are showing Monopolistic attitude. 

      (I thought of going to consumer forum in this regard.) But, your the principal authority of that company,so i have approached you.I have every right to get my car repaired. .They can't say no. i am not asking free, i want to pay and get the things done.They need to have more maturity at that position.

      Exterior Descent ground clearence, more of curves from all angles (round design like swift), descently big size tyres, keyless entry in high end. High end comes with almost all the features

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Everything is good and high end have almost any feature you would expect except below three if you are really feature conscious.

      1> No seat height adjustment (but have steering tilt).

      2> No 60:40 split of rear seat.

      3> No audio control mounted on steering.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have done 2 test drives, so with that limited experience, its quite responsive and quite smooth. Lot like FIGO, which is heavy and sluggish to reach the speed and requires lot of 2nd and 1st gear even for minor humps, Very good driving experience.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very good driving experience and steering is very smooth.

      Final Words If you are ready to neglect the fact like poort dealer/service network, I would def suggest you to go and book it. If your budget is below 6 lakhs, you can def book XL which has almost all feature except ABS, Keyless entry, AUDIO system If you dont have budget constraints, def go for XV and I dont think you will regret later.

      Areas of improvement As everyone knows increasing service/dealer network so that it will increase the number of bookings, increase the customers confidence when they see more cars on road.

      Pickup, Drivability, Space(leg space), lot of automatic features,AIR bags in low end as wellVery poor dealer network, less boot space compared to FIGO, POLO and not many colours to choose

      Exterior The car of feminine design but with muscular looks. Lost in this dilemma but the car looks nice on the road.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Too many of round theme in the dashboard makes you feel bit bored, but when its comes to seats, they are very soft and supportive. No idea how would your body react in the long journey. The top version is loaded with many delightful features but when it comes to base version which is nearly of 4 lacs, the excitement lowers down.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The car is decently powered with 76 ps(less than beat) but performed well during the test drive. Even the car is equipped with 3 cylinders but I am not sure about the good fuel economy. Gear box is smooth and feels better.

      Ride Quality & Handling The ride is good at the corners. Was not able to test drive fast so not much sure about the handling.

      Final Words The car is good but lot of competition to go in terms of service and dealer network as today customer is quite conscious about the after sales service. With lot of diesel options available Micra have to come back for this competition.

      Areas of improvement More colors to be introduced and for sure a diesel version as this is the one thing you require to remain in the competition.

      I bought this car just a month ago (14 June 2011) and was really concerned about after sales services and got commitment of excellent after. Sales services from dealer.

      The car had a problem with AC,But the first blow when I took delivery (at night 7.30pm)  there was no sign of a thrench ahead in ther premises and my driver got my new car in the trench. After that I got the car removed from the trench and then according to the advice of the salesman I sent my vehicle for service after some days. But till date my vehicle is not serviced.

      I advice you not to go for this brand as they have no focus on after sales service which is actually the main concern. I spent my valuable amount on this car and really disappointed.

      The salesman who used to call me at 9.00 pm about my purchase not shows me the clock when I call him for complain. Really very unco-operative persons, worst  brand with worst service. Better go some other brand the company is not towards customer satisfaction only company satisfaction.

      Really Phatetic.

      I have very bad expericence with Nissan India. There Customer Care service is useless. I didn't get any reply on my online complaint. Car is good but service from both the dealer & company is not upto the mark. Recently there was starting problem in the car I had approached the dealer, aster nissan. My car was under extended warrenty still they did not replace the engine parts giving reason that the fuel quality was not good & hence  its repair/replacement was not covered in extended warrenty. I was told both fuel line & fuel inector nozzle were blocked due to kerosene mixed in Dieasl. First of all who will mix kerosene in diesal!! I was filling diesal from single pump on regular basis. I am not getting any reply from Nissan India I Suggest NEVER TAKE NISSAN VEHICALS IF THEY ARE NOT INTRESTED TO GIVE SERVICE AFTER SALES.
