Tata Motors launched a special edition of the Zest last week to commemorate the milestone of the compact sedan reaching the 85,000 sales. It is christened as the 'Premio' and priced at Rs 7.53 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is being offered only in the diesel version and gets some cosmetic changes and additional features over the regular car. Take a look at its picture gallery.
The Zest 'Premio' gets a glossy black finish on the roof, smoked multi-reflector headlamps, piano black hued ORVMs and a glossy black hood strip.
Apart from the standard dual tone bumper, piano black boot lid garnish and a 'Premio' badge, one can also opt for a piano black spoiler.
Tata Motors is offering the Zest 'Premio' in titanium grey and platinum silver body colours only. Furthermore, the wheels get dark grey covers as standard equipment.
The newest addition on the Premio edition is a chic tan finished mid pad on the dashboard in the interior. It gives a different look to the cabin.
Seats are also covered with a new premium fabric with contrast stitching. They also get 'Premio' branding to add to the exclusivity.
There are no mechanical updates to the 1.3-litre Quadrajet turbodiesel engine, which produces 75bhp and 190Nm of torque. It comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
