Skoda has renamed the variants across its model range. Earlier, the versions offered on the Fabia, Laura and Yeti began with Classic, Ambiente and Elegance. Skoda has now renamed them to Active, Ambition and Elegance.
The Classic name has been replaced by Active and the Ambiente version is now renamed as Ambition. The new Skoda sedan which is known as the Skoda Rapid/Lauretta will also get these variant names. The Fabia even gets two more variants called as Active Plus and Ambition Plus. The Active Plus on the Fabia gets front and rear power windows as an extra add-on. The Ambition Plus gets folding key and rear power windows as well.
