Nissan exports India-made GO+ to South Africa

Nissan India has begun exporting the Datsun GO+ to South Africa, and in the process expanded its reach with an additional market to cater to. 

Sales of the India-made Datsun GO+ units in South Africa began on August 31, 2016 and highlights the company’s position as an integral contributor to the ‘Make-in-India’ revolution. The brand reiterated that the export of Datsun GO+ to South Africa also signifies the increasing popularity of the India-made Nissan products for export markets, thanks to the quality of output from the Renault-Nissan Alliance plant in Oragadam, near Chennai. Currently, the Chennai plant exports vehicles to 106 countries around the world, and include the Datsun GO, Datsun GO+, Datsun Redi-GO and Nissan Sunny. Datsun’s Redi-GO , produced at the Chennai plant, recently went on sale in Nepal and Sri Lanka too.
