Narain Karthikeyan and Karun Chandhok will represent India in the RoC Asia qualifiers in attempt to earn qualification in the year’s Race of Champions. The Indian pair will compete with Team China and Thailand on December 14 – if they succeed, they will compete for ROC nations cup and the main Race of Champions.
RoC features star drivers like Sebastina Vettel, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard, Jorge Lorenzo, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Mick Doohan and Jamie Whincup. Both Karthikeyan and Chandhok have never driven in RoC before but have had their stints in Formula 1 and other international racing series.
Both RoC and its Asian qualifiers will be held in Bangkok from December 14 to 16 at the Rajamangala stadium.
