Mercedes-Benz has extended its sales and service network by inaugurating a new dealership in Kolkata. The carmaker has tied up with Benchmark Cars to open this new showroom and workshop in East India.
Both the outlets were made with an investment of approximately 10 crores. The service facility spans across 20,300 sq. ft. boasting of 12 service bays for body and paint jobs. More than 20 professionally trained individuals have been hired at the facility, which is capable of servicing up to 1,500 cars a year.
On the other hand, the showroom spreads over 13,000 sq. ft. and is built within a short span of five months. There's a 11 car display area and even one separate delivery bay. Like other outlets, this one also has Café Mercedes, a customer lounge and a dedicated Mercedes-Benz accessories and merchandise section.
This new dealership is Benchmark Cars’ third such facility in Kolkata and the seventh one for Mercedes-Benz in East and North-East India. Benchmark Interkrafts will play a vital role for the operations of this state-of-the-art showroom and service facility. Its long standing association with Mercedes-Benz spans over a decade and now has a presence spread across 13 outlets in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal.
