Maruti Suzuki may launch Alto K10 with wavefront design

Maruti Suzuki may launch the Alto K10 with the looks of the “wavefront” Alto 800 in mid-2013. According to a report on Gaadi.com, the Indian small car major has already begun developing the new model and it will use the three-cylinder 1.0-litre K10 engine that powers the Alto K10, A-Star, WagonR and Estilo.

As is the case with the Alto 800, we can expect refreshed interiors and improved features like an airbag. The K10 engine has an output of 67bhp and 90Nm of torque and this will surely make the new car more fun to drive without the loss of fuel efficiency. The Alto K-10 is currently priced at Rs 3.4 lakh; with the added features this car is likely to be Rs 40,000 more.
