Electric cars are slowly gaining popularity and carmakers who want to show their environment-friendly outlook in the auto industry are doing everything they can about it. Mahindra Reva, the leader in this field, showcased their next generation two-door electric sports car concept, the Halo, at the ongoing Auto Expo 2014.
This is the first electric concept two-seater sports car and its looks have certainly drawn some attention. The car in boost mode promises to reach 0-100kmph in less than eight seconds. The company claims that the Halo with a top speed of 160kmph and can give a range of 200kms on full charge.
This next generation connected electric vehicle has advanced safety features, dual touch screen infotainment system and high end connectivity. The Halo is built in India and designed at Mahindra Reva studio, is Mahindra’s technology demonstrator for the fast growing electric global car market.
