The French government will fund Renault and Peugeot-Citroen due to the global financial crisis.
The French Government will inject 3 billion Euros in cash to the two French manufacturers to avoid job cuts.  France is the latest to follow this trend after Italy pledged to give 2 billion Euros to Italian car manufacturers. The French government said the companies have been given a loan for five years.
