Toyota Kirloskar Motor unveiled the facelifted version of its Innova. The Japanese manufacturer plans to launch the CNG version of the MPV soon.
This Innova will come in a price range of Rs 7.66 - 11.06 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The facelift will be available in four variants with petrol and diesel engines. Toyota Kirloskar Motor Managing Director Hiroshi Nakagawa said, “The new version of Innova has the best fuel mileage in the segment with 13.7kpl (under test conditions).†Â
Toyota is planning to launch the Innova with a CNG variant. “Currently trial runs are on. It will be sold in select cities in the North and the West where CNG is available. It will cost Rs 90,000 more than the regular version,†said Mr. Sandeep Singh, Toyota Kirloskar Deputy Managing Director (Marketing). Toyota also plans to launch a small car for the Indian market by 2010.
