        Specifications

        • Engine & Transmission

          • Engine
            6208 cc, 8 Cylinders In V Shape, 4 Valves/Cylinder, DOHC

Timely services will keep a motor efficient and in top shape.

          • Engine Type
            V

The official title given by the manufacturer in terms of the name of the engine, the displacement and the number of cylinders.

A bigger displacement and more than four-cylinders generally indicate a performance-oriented engine.

          • Fuel Type
            Petrol

All cars in India either run on petrol, diesel, CNG, LPG or electric power.

          • Max Power (bhp@rpm)
            563 bhp @ 6800 rpm

Gives a good idea of the performance of the vehicle under full thrust. A higher figure here usually means a higher top speed as well.

Higher the power, the peppier the engine but it can also affect fuel economy.

          • Max Torque (Nm@rpm)
            650 Nm @ 4750 rpm

Relates to in-gear acceleration. A higher figure here means better roll-on acceleration, fewer gear shifts, and possibly better fuel efficiency.

The more torque at low RPM range makes the engine feel more responsive. It also allows the engine to run smoothly without too many gear changes.

          • Drivetrain
            RWD

Cars come with different drivetrain configurations depending on the segment.

Front-wheel drive (FWD) is most common in mainstream cars while expensive cars or SUVs come with rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).

          • Transmission
Automatic - 7 Gears, Sport Mode

Type of transmission used to transfer power from the engine to the wheels

A manually operated transmission is the most popular type, thanks to its simplicity and low cost. Varied types of automatic transmissions are also available.

        • Dimensions & Weight

          • Length
            4638 mm

            Length
            • Length: 4638

Longer length results in more cabin space. It also adds to straight line stability.

          • Width
            1939 mm

A car's width is defined as its widest point without its mirrors.

            Width
            • Width: 1939

Although more width gives you more lateral space inside the cabin, it makes the car more difficult to park in narrow spots.

          • Height
            1610 mm

The height of the car denotes the highest point of the vehicle from the ground.

            Height
            • Height: 1610

          • Wheelbase
            2680 mm

The space between the center of the front and rear wheels.

            Wheelbase
            • Wheelbase: 2680

The longer the wheelbase, the more space there is inside the cabin.

          • Kerb Weight
            1620 kg

The total weight of the vehicle with all the standard equipment and all the required fluids.

A lightweight car will always be more efficient and easier to manoeuvre whereas a heavy car would give you a sense of solidity while driving.

          • No of Rows
            1 Rows

Smaller cars usually have two rows which can seat five, but some SUVs and MPVs have three rows and can seat around 7-8 passengers.

          • Fuel Tank Capacity
            85 litres

          • Rear Brake Type
            Disc

In affordable cars, drums brakes are fitted at the rear as they are cost effective.

Disc setup at the rear is now getting more popular as cars are getting faster in the real world.

            5.9 metres

The official kerb-to-kerb minimum radius a car takes to complete a 180-degree turn.

        • Here's what I know about the Mercedes SLS AMG
Buying experience: The Mercedes SLS AMG is a high-end sports car, and as such, the buying experience can vary depending on where you purchase it from. If you're buying a new SLS AMG from a dealership, you'll likely have access to a range of financing and leasing options. You can also customize your vehicle to your liking with a range of exterior and interior options. If you're buying a used SLS AMG, you'll need to be more cautious and do your due diligence to ensure that you're getting a good deal. Driving experience: The driving experience of the SLS AMG is often described as exhilarating. The car is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 engine that produces 563 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. This power allows the car to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The car also features a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, which allows for smooth gear changes. The SLS AMG is a rear-wheel-drive car, which provides a more engaging driving experience. Details about looks, performance, etc.: The SLS AMG has a distinctive look that draws attention on the road. Its long hood, short rear, and gullwing doors make it a standout vehicle. The car's performance is equally impressive, with its powerful engine and nimble handling. The SLS AMG features adaptive suspension, which helps provide a smooth ride and keeps the car stable during cornering. The interior of the car is also top-notch, with high-quality materials and a range of features, including a premium audio system and navigation. Servicing and maintenance: Because the SLS AMG is a high-performance car, servicing and maintenance can be more expensive than for a regular car. You'll want to take it to a certified Mercedes dealer or a specialist who is experienced with high-performance vehicles. Regular maintenance will include oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations. You'll also want to ensure that the car is stored in a secure and dry location to prevent any damage. Pros and cons: Pros: Powerful engine and exhilarating driving experience Distinctive and attention-grabbing looks High-quality interior with a range of features Gullwing doors provide a unique touch Cons: Expensive to buy and maintain Limited cargo space Limited rear visibility Fuel economy is not great Overall, the Mercedes SLS AMG is a high-performance sports car that is sure to turn heads. Its powerful engine and nimble handling make it a joy to drive, and its distinctive look is sure to grab attention. However, its high price tag and maintenance costs may make it less accessible for some buyers.
