 Rear design is the only eye catching area. Bold look and compact with large boot.

 Not so attractive, but acceptable considering other pros.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Excellent, not very noisy and pick-up of car is as good as swift.

Fuel economy: I have driven 1300KM till date and recived average milage of 22KM/L in city and maximum 25km/L on higway with A/C. It is unbelievable but it is true. You can test it yourself or can verify from other users.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Super, no issues

Final Words

Real value for money car. Ample space with good milage which every indian looks for. High ground clearence made for indian roads. Low maintenance for frequent travellers. Very tough competitor for Swift and Vista for sure.

Areas of improvement  

D4 is second variant of car, but it does not include music system and central locking. This must be included as far as price is concerned.

Interiors should have been given stylish seat cover and more carving is expected on dashboard design.

I have driven 10K + kilometers and i love to drive on highways due to the feel it gives on high speed and better control. In city limits also its performance is great even at very low speed. On security side it has a strong body and safe on rear part also (i any major impact from rear side). width of this car is a + advantage while on sharp turns and u turns.

Good rear view. utilized max length under sub 4 meter limit. good storage space. side view look is slight disappointed but its ok.

 Very good and powerful engine with very good fuel economy. slight clutch which makes ur ride comfort espicially on city limits.

 Side look and dash modiication could have been improved better.

Bought my vibe second had with 18000 kms, done. Initially felt bit iffy manuvering through Bangalore traffic cs of it's heavy steering and wide body, soon started to enjoy it's road manners and drivability especially on highway, once I cross 100km/hr mark. It feels so stable at high speeds and holds the turn with lot of confidence, and it's light clutch inspite of being a diesel engine is a boon for commuter like me who put on 80km average/day. Though it's 64HP engine feels bit lazy initially but power delivery is even, once the tacho crosses 2000 rpm truly feels in it's elements. Surprisingly this heavy car delivers 22-24km/ltr on highway and averages 18 in city with AC on. Put on almost 48000kms, yet the suspension feels so smooth and absorbs the pot holes and speed brakers with ease. Lastly mahindra service is truly profesional and reliable. Last note if you are looking for a Robust, well built, functional  car which comes with Active safety, this is the one for you.
